Lindenlea Community Association The Lindenlea Community Association was founded to serve the residents of Lindenlea. We run programs and events for the community.

Lindenlea is a neighbourhood in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, one of its smallest. It is bordered by Maple Lane to the north, Acacia Avenue to the east, Beechwood Avenue to the south and Springfield Road to the west. Its neighbouring communities are Rockcliffe Park (north and east), Vanier (south) and New Edinburgh (west).

Thanks to everyone who attended our annual family day event! This year we ran the event on Valentine’s Day making it even more special. We enjoyed cupcake decorating and card making and watched a great performance by . We then had a fantastic coffeehouse organized by our friend and flamenco/tai chi instructor Marna! We have some wonderful talent in our community! Thanks to our performers, artists who displayed their work, and our helpers who made this day very special! Save the date! Please join us at the community centre for our annual Family Day Celebration happening on Saturday February 14th from 12:00pm-3:30pm! From 12:00pm-1:30pm we will be focused on kids activities including cupcake decorating, Valentine's Day Crafts and a Performance by CML Theatre (1:00pm). A community coffeehouse will start at 1:30pm and run until 3:30pm(ish). There will be demonstartions by our Tai Chi Class, our Flamenco Class as well as music performances and displays by local artists. If you are interested in performing or sharing your talent..please let us know! This event is free to attend and we hope to see you there! :)

Join us on Monday January 19th from 3:00pm-4:00pm for a winter seed sowing workshop run by Elizabeth Sheehy. Please send us a message and RSVP (required) by Sunday January 18th if you would like to attend. You will need to bring native seeds that require cold, moist stratification and either 2-4L plastic jugs (old water or juice containers) or pots for planting! We hope to see you there!

Happy Skating Season!

Our rink in Lindenlea Park is open as of 12:30pm today. Our hosers caution that it is early in the season so there are some uneven patches in the corners. Thanks to everyone in the community for staying off the ice while the rink was being built!

We would like to thank Jeff M. for putting in hours of work to get our rink open as early as possible! Also thanks to our hosers and to everyone who grabbed a shovel and helped us out so far. If you would like to volunteer to become a hoser or help with shoveling, please let me know!

Happy Halloween! We hope everyone has a safe and fun time trick or treating tonight! Thanks to everyone who attended our not-so-scary haunted community centre event last weekend! Happy Thanksgiving Weekend! Just a reminder that the community centre is closed until Tuesday. No programs or classes are running including - soccer, taekwondo, tai chi, flamenco dance, yoga and our cardio strength and stretch class.
