We’re excited to announce that SciPol 102, our annual science policy seminar series, is back for its second year!
Graduate students engage with science policy every day, occasionally without even realizing it. SciPol 102 offers an accessible introduction to the world of science policy, starting with an exciting first session focused on the fast-evolving topic of artificial intelligence (AI). There will be 3 sessions, starting on May 14th.

We would greatly appreciate it if you could share this opportunity with your graduate student networks. Anyone interested in science, policy, or bridging the two worlds will find valuable insights at SciPol 102!
🗓️ Session 1 Details:
Presentation: Accelerating AI Policy Implementation
Presenter: Dr. Jason Millar, University of Ottawa
Date: Wednesday, May 14th
Time: 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM

📍 Location: Hybrid
In-person: University of Ottawa, Faculty of Social Sciences (FSS), Room 5028
Online: Microsoft Teams
☕ Coffee and snacks will be provided for all in-person attendees!

📝 Sessions 2 and 3:
