In a night of glamour and glory, we celebrated our residents' triumphs with an Oscar-like award ceremony. Residents walked the red carpet with confidence and prepared acceptance speeches. The nominees were selected and voted for by the residents, truly making it a peer-driven honor. Managers presented each award with infectious passion and pride. We are eagerly awaiting next year's awards. Residents are already vying for nominations.

Waffle Wednesday was celebrated with enthusiasm today as we joined in the international recognition of this scrumptious breakfast dish. The Door was abuzz with residents lining up for the sought-after waffle and fried chicken combination, a new trend sweeping the globe, prepared to perfection by our dedicated FSM and kitchen team. This month, our Dinner with Friends gathering took on a distinctly Moroccan flair. The evening's culinary journey began with Harira soup, a hearty tomato-based starter. The main course, Chicken Tagine with Apricots, was served to perfection atop a bed of Couscous. Dessert was a masterful blend of Moroccan spiced oranges and French vanilla ice cream, complemented by a date. The atmosphere was further enriched by the lilting strains of Moroccan music, under which dinner was served by the soft light of lanterns, making for a truly convivial evening that strengthened bonds of friendship and family.

Next month we head to Afghanistan, so please come and join us for another devine dinner with your friends.

St. Patrick's Day festivities are underway, and we're delighted to report that the Irish luck was in our favor. A highly competitive staff versus residents bowling match saw the residents win convincingly, with one participant scoring 102 points. The afternoon's Irish concert, featuring classically trained singer Shawe Elizabeth Beames and pianist Oyla Lenko, was attended by a full house. Our Food Service Manager's pot of gold cupcakes and deep-fried green beans were a hit, accompanied by Shamrock Shakes and green punch. It was a day of celebration for those with classic tastes.
