really knows how to get us up and dancing. Residents and Staff had the most fun today. We sung, we danced, we celebrated the coming festive season.

We will be dancing up a storm this coming season. Join us all December long.

One of our many talented residents was picked-up by a limousine recently to go and celebrate his amazing accomplishment as a member of the board at MAISON DÉCISION HOUSE a non-profit Organization that helps adult males return to the community.
Mr. Fagan's work with this organization for over 40 years. So in honor of him and his support they were able to open a second home and named the building after him.

It is so wonderful to see the recognition of this wonderful man. And a great cause to help those in need.

What a day to remember, Elvis and his wife came to Oakpark. We had the most fun remembering days gone by with world famous Elvis impersonator Bruce Stewart. He sang all the old favorites and even got a conga line going. Oh boy.

He had us shake, rattle and rolling up and down the main lounge of Oakpark Retirement Community
We kicked up our blue suede shoes, said its now or never and couldn't help but fall in love with Elvis all over again.

Via las vegas Oakpark, don't be cruel and return to sender soon Bruce aka Elvis.

We also recieved a visit from a little known lady named Marlyin Monroe as well and boy were some of the gentlemen smitten with her.
Who knew Oakpark was the hot spot for singers and movie stars.

We made a delicious form of art today, hand painted sugar cookies. We try our hand at painting flowers and poppies on sugar cookies made by our FSM .

We have so much fun trying to make flower petals out of royal icing. No paint brushed were harmed in the making of theses tasty cookies.
