We are pleased to share that registration for the 14th Annual Ottawa Neurosurgery Review Course will open on January 5.

This course is designed to support:

PGY4 residents and others preparing for the Royal College Written Examination

PGY6 residents and candidates preparing for the Royal College Oral Examination

Fellows and practicing neurosurgeons seeking a comprehensive refresher

The course will be offered both in-person and virtually, with the virtual platform providing an excellent option for participants outside of Canada.

Important Registration Notes

Registration is open to all for the written exam component.

Priority for the oral exam sessions will be given to PGY6 residents and those planning to sit the Oral Examination.

All participants (written, oral, or both) must register for the full 8-day course.

While virtual attendance is available, PGY6 residents are strongly encouraged to attend in person.

Please note: the written exam will be held in person. Participants registered virtually will still need to be on-site on April 2 to complete the written exam.

Accommodation
We recommend the Residence Corporation for accommodation, as they offer very reasonable rates and a variety of options including studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom units. Sharing accommodations with fellow residents may be a cost-effective option.

If you encounter any issues during registration or have questions, please do not hesitate to reach out.

Just a reminder that the deadline for the early bird registration is December 11th.
The course is being held from January 27 - February 3, 2024. February 3rd is for the oral and written exams.
Once again we are pleased to be able to offer both an in-person and virtual course.
For those of you out of country wishing to participate the virtual course is a great option.
