Tubman Funeral Homes

Tubman Funeral Homes Excellent service and great value. We guarantee it. Absolutely! We are privileged to have been able to serve many families at a critical time in their lives.

Every individual and every family deserves the professionalism, respect and compassion that Tubman offers. We believe every funeral should be as unique as the person whose life it acknowledges. A funeral needs to also provide the environment for those who are grieving to share their loss and to begin to heal. At Tubman, we guide you and counsel you to meet your needs and we know that the choices y

ou make at this time are very important to your emotional and psychological well-being. At Tubman we not only provide the funeral service at the time of need. We are totally committed to your well-being and provide planning and counsel prior to a death and consultation with our post service care coordinator. Throughout the year there are regular bereavement seminars, informative sessions (questions to ask, help for the executor, etc.) and Holiday Help (strategies for coping with the holidays as well as a memorial tribute). Our care for your family does not end when the funeral is over. We will help you in your grief journey.

Proud to support our community in the sweetest way 🍪❤️

Today, we picked up some Smile Cookies from Tim Hortonss and treated our amazing team to a little something special. Not only did we enjoy a delicious treat together, but we also contributed to a great cause that gives back locally.

It’s moments like these that remind us how small gestures can make a big impact. Supporting our community never tasted so good!

Happy Volunteer Week! 🩷

Today, we take time to recognize the incredible volunteers in our community.

Together, when we give selflessly, it inspires others to join in and be a part of something meaningful. You're dedication, time, energy and heart doesn't go unnoticed. It's truly appreciated!

A sincere Thank You to every volunteer for helping build our wonderful community.

Team Tubman is proud to be taking part in this year’s Hike for Hospice in support of Hospice Care Ottawa! 🥾💙

We’ll be hitting the trails together with our beloved therapy dog, Beau 🐾. Along the route, we’ll also be sharing some fresh popcorn as a small treat for fellow hikers—because every great walk deserves a little snack!

This event supports compassionate hospice care in our community, helping provide comfort, dignity, and support to individuals and families when they need it most.

If you’re able, please consider supporting Team Tubman or cheering us on. Every step we take is for a meaningful cause, and your support truly makes a difference.

“The loss of a brother or sister is not small, unimportant, or invisible.
In fact, it’s quite the opposite. I call sibling loss ‘the loss of a lifetime’, because who else do we expect to have relationships with that stretch our entire lives?” -Lynn Shattuck
