The Eye See…Eye Learn® program is available to children born in 2016 that are in any junior kindergarten program. This ESEL program began July 1, 2020 and goes through to June 30, 2021.

Due to the business disruptions the ESEL program has been extended, children born in 2015 are eligible until December 31, 2020.

If required, Eye See…Eye Learn® will provide one pair of glasses Plastic Plus and Modern Optical Canada. The frames are fashionable and are made with high quality and impact resistant polycarbonate lenses. The estimated value of the glasses is over $250.

Hi everyone,

I would like to share some tips and tricks to professionals who use electronics on a day to day basis. With our technological world always upgrading and Covid-19 on the rise we may find ourselves stuck behind a screen for hours on end. Noticing eye strain, dry eyes or even headaches may be a sign of over usage and may be time for a rest.

This chronic underfunding, coupled with the devastating impact of COVID-19 on optometrists’ ability to see patients, threatens Ontarians’ access to these essential health services.

We have exciting news!!!!!!!
We are open for routine eye care and all your eyeglass needs, but by appointment only and with modified hours for now.

Our priority is to keep you safe and healthy while you are in our care so in response to COVID-19 we are following additional safety precautions.

These are the changes that you can expect when you come in for your next appointment:
* An intake form will be provided by email or phone to ensure proper flow through the office.
* Patients must come to their appointments alone. If you need assistance, we ask that you only bring one caregiver. We also ask that you show up at the exact time of your appointment. If you arrive early, please wait in your car, until your appointment time. This is to ensure that there is enough space in the office for us to safely distance.
* Everyone 3 years or older must wear a facial covering/mask when coming to the office.
* Before you enter the office you will be asked a Covid-19 screening questionnaire, your temperature will be taken, and hand sanitizer will be provided. Please wear a mask to your appointment.
* We will be wearing masks, safety glasses, and some team members will be wearing face shields for everyone’s safety and protection.
* Increased disinfecting procedures on all machines, equipment, and surfaces areas around the office meet and exceed guidelines from the College of Optometrists and Ministry of Health.
* To ensure comprehensive exams, our new office policy recommends digital retinal imaging on all patients age 6 years and older.
* The optical dispensary will be by appointment only, to ensure proper distancing.When repairs are required, we will provide our curbside service. All frames and surfaces will be disinfected between patients.

* Absolutely no food or beverages allowed in the office.

We wanted to add a quick update for anyone with questions, concerns or needing information while the clinic is closed due to the pandemic.

If you require emergency care, please email us at drfredcampbell@eye-care.ca. We will also be answering the phone from 9-2 Mon to Friday until we reopen and resume our regular clinic hours.

We hope to see you again soon, in the meantime, we wish you and your family a successful and safe path through the current situation.
