Our Classic Movie Night featured Singin’ in the Rain, bringing smiles, sing-alongs, and plenty of nostalgia. With hot dogs, popcorn, and sweet treats in hand, everyone enjoyed a cozy diner-style evening filled with laughter, music, and great company 🍿🌭🎶

This week Maplewood had the opportunity of being at two community outreach events. First was the French organization “Centre Pauline Charron “ to visit our friends and provide them with a blood pressure clinic. We also had the pleasure of being at the St. Laurent mall and did the same for our “mall walkers” friends; but with a special twist. It was one of the members special day. Thank you so much for including us in your birthday celebration. We enjoyed all of the freshly home made and baked goodies. Everything was prepared by none other than the birthday boy himself. Happy Birthday Pierre! What a fabulous event. We appreciate all of you!

Men’s Breakfast at Maplewood

This morning, our Maplewood gentlemen enjoyed a wonderful Men’s Breakfast hosted by Rina and Sheri! ☕🍳

It was a great time filled with delicious food, engaging conversations, and plenty of laughter. Events like these create a relaxed space for our residents to connect, share stories, and start the day on a positive note.

A big thank you to Rina and Sheri for organizing such a warm and enjoyable morning for our Maplewood men!

We look forward to many more moments like this. 💙

🍀 St. Patrick’s Day Celebration at Maplewood! 🍀

Today at Maplewood, we celebrated St. Patrick’s Day with lots of joy, laughter, and a touch of Irish spirit! 💚

Our residents enjoyed a fun-filled day with festive decorations, delicious treats, and great company. From wearing green to sharing smiles, the energy throughout the community was truly heartwarming.

Thank you to our amazing team for organizing such a wonderful day and to our residents for making it so memorable!

Our Polka Dot Social was a fun and cheerful afternoon!
With the lively sounds of retro and late 50s music, including “Itsy Bitsy Teenie We**ie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini,” residents enjoyed delicious sweets, dancing and a trivia time together. A sweet afternoon full of smiles and great company at Maplewood!

A fantastic way to start the week! We were delighted to welcome the first of what we hope will be many visits from our neighbours, Montessori School, the Glee Club. A heartfelt thank you to the teachers, and especially to the children, for bringing so much joy, warmth, and love to our community.

Today, on International Women’s Day, we do more than celebrate — we honor and reflect on the journey that brought us here.
Many of the rights women have today, which may seem normal in some parts of the world, were once the result of courage, protest, and the determination of brave women who stood up and fought for equality. Their strength and resilience opened doors for the generations that followed.
Today we celebrate every woman, because every woman carries her own story of perseverance, courage, and hope.
