Dr. Ken Brough, Dr. Valérie Robichaud and Erin Crotty represented the CURAVITA team at Practice Opportunity Day at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in Toronto.

Practice opportunity day brought together students from Years 1–4, chiropractors from across Canada, and leaders from national and provincial chiropractic and protective associations, and the Aspire clinic software team.

It was great to engage with future chiropractors and leaders of the profession.

Thanks to CMCC students, faculty and staff for the warm welcome. And for the warm welcome back to Dr. Valérie Robichaud, CMCC alumna.

Welcome Bhavika Busa, physiotherapist, to our CURAVITA Byward Clinic team!

Bhavika chose to pursue a career in physiotherapy because of her passion for helping people restore movement and manage pain without relying on medication. She values physiotherapy’s ability to combine science, movement, and hands-on treatment to support healing in a natural and empowering way. What she finds most rewarding is guiding patients through personalized treatment plans and celebrating progress as they reach goals they may have once felt were out of reach.

In her practice, Bhavika takes a holistic and evidence-based approach to care. Her goal with every patient is not only to address their immediate concern, but also to help them build strength, confidence, and understanding of their body. She believes that education, individualized exercise, and active participation are essential components of recovery, and she works collaboratively with patients to support long-term health and injury prevention.

Welcome physiotherapist Bhavika Busa to our Byward Clinic team!

Bhavika Busa is a compassionate and motivated Physiotherapist who is deeply committed to helping patients move with greater ease, reduce pain, and improve their overall quality of life through evidence-based, hands-on care.

Bhavika graduated from J.G. College of Physiotherapy in Gujarat, India in 2021. Bhavika relocated to Ottawa as an international student to first pursue a diploma in Health and Fitness Promotion at Algonquin College. She then started her practice as a Resident Physiotherapist in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.

In 2025, Bhavika became a Registered Physiotherapist with the CPO. Her academic training and early clinical experiences shaped a strong foundation in patient-centred care and reinforced her desire to work closely with individuals to support meaningful, long-term recovery.

From our beginnings in The Glebe in 1994 to becoming CURAVITA Health Group with two Ottawa locations, our purpose has always been the same: to provide compassionate, high-quality care and to build meaningful relationships.

Our name reflects who we are at our core: CURA, meaning care, and VITA, meaning life - a reminder that our purpose is to help people get more out of life, through care that is thoughtful and evidence-informed.

Today, CURAVITA is a team of dedicated chiropractors, physiotherapists, registered massage therapists, and allied health professionals working together in true collaboration. For more than three decades, we have been honoured to walk alongside thousands of patients supporting recovery from injury, managing pain, restoring mobility, enhancing performance, and promoting long-term wellness.

We are excited to announce that our Clinics, formerly known in Ottawa as the Glebe and Byward Chiropractic Clinics + Massage Therapy Centres, will be operating under a new brand name - CURAVITA Health Group! So why a new brand name? It was important for us to capture, on a larger scale, our collaborative and caring healthcare philosophy. Broken down, Cura means “care” in latin and Vita means “life.” This embodies our philosophy in one simple word.
