✨ My Favourite Nervous System Regulation Tips ✨
Because stress is normal — but staying stuck in stress isn’t. Here are simple tools you can use anytime your body needs a reset:
1️⃣ Cover your basics
Your nervous system can’t regulate well if the foundations aren’t there.
✔ Nourishing food
✔ Hydration
✔ Daily movement
✔ Quality sleep
These simple pillars make everything else work better.
2️⃣ Deep breathing
Slow, intentional breathing flips your system from fight-or-flight into rest-and-digest.
Try: 4 seconds in → 6 seconds out.
Instant calm.
3️⃣ Sensory resets (they work!)
✔ Sour candy – gives fast vagus nerve stimulation & snaps you out of overwhelm
✔ Cold exposure – cold water on your face, a cold drink, or 10–20 seconds in a cold shower activate the parasympathetic system and reset your baseline
