In 2026, Perley Health will take a significant step forward in our mission to achieve excellence in the health, safety and well-being of Seniors and Veterans with a focus on innovation in person centred and frailty-informed care and service. Construction continues on a unique, child care centre in the heart of our community of care with service delivery from our partners from Andrew Fleck Children’s Services.
This isn't your standard daycare; it is a space – and a program – that aspires to connect Seniors, Veterans, and children.
And the impact of this initiative goes far beyond daily child care. As Annie Robitaille, Commissionaires Ottawa Research Chair at the Centre of Excellence in Frailty-Informed Care™, explains, intergenerational programming has many benefits.
