We have had SO MUCH music this month at Carlingwood - and such a wide variety! In order shown in this reel …

1. Our wonderful activity assistant, Chad, fiddling like crazy and getting us all dancing!
2. The lovely St. Paul’s Church Choir leading us in a Christmas Evening Sing a long.
3. The Grade 8 Ensemble from Woodroffe Public School playing some challenging tunes for us that they worked so hard on.
4. The Pop Shop All Stars ( ) performing their Christmas show and blowing us all away
5. Mary Ellen providing some beautiful Celtic Christmas Harp for our festive Wine and Cheese
6. Our lovely Church Youth Group from .ca , who visits us on a monthly basis, performed a lovely concert for us all to sing a long to!

What a fantastic month - and it was especially heart warming to see so many young musicians sharing their talent with us!

Thank you to everyone who took the time to come and share their music with Carlingwood, and thank you to all the residents and staff who made a superb audience đź‘Ź

We have been adding a variety of new exercise programs to our Carlingwood Schedule! Residents can now enjoy Zumba (both seated and standing), as well as Standing exercise class focused on improving balance, coordination and strength. These programs are designed to support mobility, confidence and overall wellness - all while having fun together!

Staying active is so important at every age, and we love seeing our residents participate and cheer one another on. We regularly offer seated exercise programs (5-6 days a week), pool exercise, and many active games. We hope to see continued great participation as we love into the New Year!

Boy oh boy - we have been crafting up a storm this month! We did a painting morning, made beautiful wood ornament Santa’s, gorgeous beaded ornaments, felt wreaths and even decorated candy cane cookies!
