A big shout out to one of our talented residents, Margaret, who took part in our Holiday Bazaar over the weekend. Margaret is almost always seen with an embroidery kit in her hands. Margaret decided to donate all her earning to , and was able to raise $300 for this wonderful organization! Way to go Margaret!

What a fun day! Yesterday we had our Open House as well as our Holiday Bazaar. It was a busy morning with Exercise led by Carmin, a Hot Chocolate Bar and snacks provided by our outstanding kitchen crew, and music by the talented Derek Jones (who even made Elvis appear 😉).

We did a quick switch over to set up for our Holiday Bazaar (a HUGE thank you to our volunteers Jenn and Donna!), where we had 11 vendors out!

Thank you to our vendors for spending the afternoon with us a providing a lovely experience for our residents and community members - , Art and Chimes by Tina, Val’s Designs, Margaret’s Needlepoint, Beaded Elegance, and Hazel & Ella

Residents also held a used books & beyond sale, where they raised over $225 dollars for !

A big thank you to our Greeting Cards Creations club for your hard work every month! This group creates beautiful birthday, thank you, and anniversary cards that we give to residents, and to our volunteers and entertainers for a personal “thank you” for all they do!

🌺 Lest We Forget 🌺

Today, our community came together to honour the courage and sacrifice of those who have served our country.

Residents took part in heartfelt Remembrance Day activities — creating beautiful poppy crafts, watching the Ottawa National Ceremony, and holding our own service right here at home.

Our ceremony included singing O Canada, touching readings by resident Veterans and Veteran Spouses, and the stirring sounds of wartime music that brought back many memories.

We concluded our ceremony with refreshments and reflection, sharing stories and gratitude for the freedoms we cherish today.

To all who have served and continue to serve — thank you. We remember. ❤️
