Handling dangerous goods requires the right training and up-to-date certification. In Canada, a Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) certificate is issued by your employer and is not transferable between workplaces.

Even if the responsibilities stay the same, a new certificate is required when you change jobs to ensure the information is current and safety standards are maintained.
