TOH Nurses Committed to Patient/Family Centered Care through Nursing Excellence | Excellence des soins infirmiers: en engagement envers le patient et sa famille

Welcome to TOH Nurses! We are proud to launch this social media campaign to connect nurses and support excellence in nursing practice. Here, you will find information about developing your skills, upcoming events, the latest research, and caring for the caregiver. Our goal is to support your excellence in practice, and celebrate your hard work! The purpose of this page is to connect and empower nurses at The Ottawa Hospital, and beyond. The content can be specific to TOH Nurses, but also accessible for a wider health care audience. We include items like upcoming conferences and education days, information about research and professionalism, and professional development tools. We welcome recognition for nurses that go above and beyond in their personal or professional activities, such as photos, recognition notes, etc. This forum is not intended to host discussions pertaining to patients, specific clinical skills, advertising, or union/legal matters. Any posts that address these issues will be removed. It is also not intended for addressing nursing practice concerns; our emphasis is on non-clinical skills and professional development. A reminder that this page is an extension of your work at the Ottawa Hospital, and will be monitored in accordance with the Ottawa Hospital Social Media policy, College of Nurses of Ontario Standards and Guidelines, and the Canadian Nurses Association Code of Ethics. All posts, comments, and other material on this page must adhere to the following:
