Dr. Jessie Hsieh was born and raised in Taiwan and later continued her education in Canada where she graduated from Queen’s University and Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. She’s fluent in both English and Mandarin and understands Taiwanese and Cantonese well. Dr. Hsieh is an expert in postural adjustment, neck and low back pain, headaches, and gait analysis. She practices mostly Diversified technique with soft tissue treatment (eg. MRT, traction, instrumented soft tissue mobilization, taping) and rehab exercises to ensure her patient receives a well-rounded care. She also pursued further chiropractic training in Webster technique (for treating pregnant women), Thompson technique (a gentle technique with drop pieces), and Activator technique (an instrument-assisted method) to provide different treatment options. Dr. Hsieh has provided treatment in various sporting events including cycling, rugby, and football. In addition, she is keen on volunteering for worthy causes (eg. Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk, Doctors for Doctors Run, leading senior exercise groups, performing rehab for youth with disabilities, etc). Dr. Hsieh is loved by her patients not only for her skills and professionalism, but also for her warm, caring nature and attention to detail. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, camping, and going to local events with her family and friends. She feels privileged to be able to serve this dynamic and friendly community.
