RNCH team members, Cailey Riggs and Brennah Holley, delivered an interactive session at the on Navigating Challenges in Pediatric Oncology End-of-Life Care.

More than 100 participants joined them to explore these challenges — through a gamified, case-based presentation — learning best practices in end-of-life care for pediatric oncology patients.

We’re grateful to POGO for bringing together so many professionals to advance skill sharing and compassion in caring for children and their families during end-of-life.

We’re grateful to have attended the annual 'Hockey Fights Cancer' at last night’s Ottawa Senators game.

Events like this are a powerful reminder of the impact a community can have when we come together for the love of the game and to make a difference. Thank you to the Ottawa Senators and the Senators Community Foundation for helping raise awareness of such an important cause! ❤️🏒

The Butterfly Run Ottawa has once again made a remarkable impact in our community! 🎊

This year, the run raised an incredible $80,000 to support vital services and resources at Roger Neilson Children's Hospice and CHEO.

Since 2017, their dedication to raising awareness and creating a supportive community for families facing pregnancy and infant loss, pregnancy after loss, and infertility has ensured that no one has to face this journey alone.

Thank you for your compassion and commitment in creating a space where families can come together, find support, and feel seen. It's because of you that we can continue to do what we do, which truly makes a difference in our community. 💜

At RNCH, we're committed to supporting learners and strengthening palliative care services for young people. Through our Recreational Therapy Program, students gain hands-on experience in a caring environment, guided by our incredible team and mentors. Together, they create activities that reflect each child’s unique needs and personality — helping our guests feel comfortable, supported, and celebrated every day.

This past summer, interns like Angel and Dhivya not only sparked moments of joy and connection, but also deepened their understanding of how pediatric palliative care helps children and families live to the fullest.

Every year, RNCH takes our guests trick-or-treating in the local community. Our amazing neighbours make Halloween inclusive and accessible by bringing out special treats and gifts for the kids. When the weather changed our plans this year, our community still showed up; and brought the Halloween fun straight to us with treats, surprises, and big smiles!

A huge thank you to Gabriel Pizza, Farm Boy Trainyards, and all our wonderful neighbours for making this our sweetest Halloween yet! 🎃

Wishing Ottawa Rapid FC the best for tomorrow’s game against Vancouver. Seeing the team with the kids in September was such a special moment, and we’ll be cheering loudly from a distance.
