As we round out 2025, we’re excited to highlight some of the work we’ve done this year!

In October, we reached a significant milestone with the launch of our re-designed website and Resource Hub. This achievement represents a collective effort to improve access to high-quality pediatric palliative care in Canada.

We were grateful to celebrate this moment alongside our partners from across Canada. Your support, collaboration, and willingness to share your experiences have been essential to every step forward we’ve taken this year.

Thank you for being part of this important work. We look forward to continuing to build, learn, and collaborate in 2026.

Say hello to Stephanie, Manager of Quality and Patient Safety. 🌟 She joined RNCH in 2023, and it’s no surprise her impact has been immediate.

Beginning her career as a registered nurse and moving through various leadership roles, Stephanie brings a well-rounded approach to care and quality.

After hearing about RNCH from colleagues, she was inspired to join. From her very first day, she felt connected to the hospice’s heart and mission.

This holiday season, our leadership team proudly supported the Kiwanis Club to deliver turkeys to families in our community.

We are deeply grateful for the incredible support we receive from our community—and this is just one way we can give back.

Thank you, Kiwanis, for your commitment to helping young people and families!

Yesterday, we welcomed our lovely friends from Morley Hoppner! 🎁 From thoughtfully donated toys and holiday gifts to a generous $5,000 donation, it was such a joy spending time together; wrapping the presents they brought, as well as those from other donors and friends.

Your continued support helps us provide much-needed equipment and care for children and their families. Thank you! 💛

Expanding our grief services at RNCH was based on community need and extensive review.

Early in the process, our team completed a comprehensive scoping review of bereavement practices and support strategies.

That work has now been published in the Journal of Social Work in End-of-Life & Palliative Care, recognizing the importance of much-needed grief research work.

These findings continue to inform how we deliver the highest standard of compassionate, evidence-based grief support to children and families. 🏥💚

Congratulations to the team involved on this meaningful achievement!

Last night, the Ottawa Senators telethon created a truly special moment for Gabby and Katie, two campers from our first-ever Young Grievers camp this past summer.

Honouring their dad, a proud Sens fan, they had the incredible opportunity to take part in the ceremonial puck drop alongside our CEO, Megan Wright, and Chris Neil — a heartfelt, full-circle moment made even more meaningful by the love of the game.

Thank you to our community and the incredible Senators Community Foundation for making this night so special. ❤️🏒

Huge thank you to the Ottawa Senators for stopping by! Our guests were thrilled to decorate cookies and spend time together. Your visit added a little extra magic to this season of giving.
