We are very excited to be offering Yoga right here at Flow State Therapy led by Sherry Beaudry!

Yoga can be a powerful complement to psychotherapy—helping regulate the nervous system, reduce stress, improve body awareness, and create space for healing both mentally and physically.

Certified in Ottawa in 2019, Sherry brings experience teaching community classes, retreats, studio sessions, and private lessons. Her approach blends alignment, strength, and calm — supporting steady growth without pressure.

☀️ Spring Forward into a New Season 🌷

With Daylight Saving Time, we gain a little more evening light and begin the gradual shift into spring. Longer days can bring new energy, fresh routines, and opportunities to reconnect with the things that help us feel our best.

This time of year can be a gentle reminder to:
🌱 Step outside and enjoy a bit more sunlight
🌱 Refresh daily routines that support your well-being
🌱 Make space for rest, movement, and moments of joy
🌱 Notice small signs of growth—both around you and within you

As the season changes, it can also be a meaningful time to check in with yourself. If you’ve been thinking about starting therapy or continuing your mental health journey, this season of renewal can be a great time to begin.

Our team is here to support you. If you’re ready to take that next step, we welcome you to reach out. 🌿

On Sunday March 8th, we honoured International Women’s Day — a time to recognize the strength, resilience, and contributions of women everywhere.

We recognize and support all who identify as women. The women in our community, our clients, our colleagues, and those who continue to advocate for equity, safety, and wellbeing.

💜 If it is a day of celebration for you, we celebrate with you.
💜 If it brings reflection, fatigue, or mixed emotions, that is valid too.

March 8th and every day, we remain committed to listening, supporting, and advocating for wellbeing, equity, and dignity.

💜 You deserve to be heard.
💜 You deserve support.
💜 You deserve care.

Last week, FlowState Therapy had the privilege of co-hosting the Light For Veterans Foundation Business Alliance Mixer at our Ottawa office.

When we designed this space, it was always meant to serve more than one purpose.

Yes, it’s where structured clinical work happens.

But it is also a place where organizations can gather, where business leaders can align around impact, and where conversations about supporting Veterans and First Responders can move forward in practical ways.

Sustainable change does not happen in isolation.

It happens when advocacy groups, healthcare providers, business leaders, and community partners sit at the same table.

Thank you to:
Daniel Marsh – Founder, Light For Veterans Foundation. Your hard work and dedication shines through everything you do!

Special thanks to Paul, Derek and Nico for the great organization and amazing food!

Jon Hindo – WorkAway Offices. Thanks for being a part of the conversation and the great Podcast last week!

Jean-Guy Bourguignon Echelon Wellness. Was your turn to tour the space. Thanks for coming by.

Mark Cullen – Trees for Life. Thank you for the amazing speech

Seann Poli – JANrx

Richard Pucci OMM,CD,BSc,MDS – Brainstim Health

Patrick Fleming R.Kin, CSCS – Fleming Fitness Inc

Chris Johnson – ICU Golf

Tina Wilston & Michelle Massunken MSW, RSW – . Still waiting for my Podcast invite.

Nico – La Cuisine du Phoenix

Valérie Guilbault Nine Pilates Inc

270 West Consulting. Thank you to the team from 270 West for your ongoing support of our Veteran Community.

And the many others helping build a stronger corporate and community ecosystem in Ottawa!

We are grateful to play a role in bringing leaders together around a shared commitment to those who have served.

This is how durable networks of care are built.

✨Seasons of Change✨ A Therapeutic Circle

What do we hold on to when so much feels like it’s falling apart? This will be a program for therapeutic learning as well as experiencing. Whether you are moving through grief, a relationship ending, a career shift, a loss of identity, or the uncertainty around the world, we will weave together art, movement, and lessons from nature to learn how understanding loss and breakdown is necessary to know how to truly live.

🌱 Who: We are gathering a circle of 6 participants (18+) identifying as women, femme-presenting, or gender non-conforming, and is designed with the hearts of creatives and highly sensitive people in mind.

🌱 When: Saturdays 10am-12pm from March 14th to April 25th, with a break on April 4th (total of 6 sessions)

🌱 Cost: $80 per session ($480 total), paid in three installments of $160. To secure your spot, the first installment is due upon registration. Subsequent payments will be processed automatically after the 2nd and 4th sessions. This group is eligible for psychotherapy benefit coverage..

The nervous system doesn’t change all at once.
It learns through experience, often in small, steady moments.

Neurofeedback offers a gentle, non-invasive way for the brain to notice its own patterns, within a calm, clinician-led, trauma-informed setting. For some people, this creates space for awareness, regulation, and a sense of steadiness over time.
