DISCLAIMER :
As we grow, we change, and when change occurs, we adjust our approach.
In 2026, we will be navigating social media differently. Disclaimers will be placed at the end of every post.
Every obstacle presents a lesson. How we choose to apply those lessons can take various paths.
Transparency has been EECS practice since 2016, and it remains unchanged.
However, when we share lived experiences, those who have harmed us will often attempt to silence us.
We have never navigated our clinic in that manner, and we will never do so.
Scholarly and trained experiences have taught us significant dynamics of power and control. Our certification and training in narcissistic behaviour of others helped us find safer spaces and guide our business’s direction. Clinicians also need safe spaces.
We all deserve a space on social media.
We all deserve to express our truth, especially in a democratic society.
We all deserve to feel our emotions.
When we recognize these fundamental rights, we are within our legal rights to share.
Disclaimers serve as a safeguard for our hard work, words, images, ideas and creations.
Disclaimers help create safe spaces that are non-judgmental, free from bigotry, discrimination, hatred, racism and other forms of prejudice. They foster inclusivity.
Disclaimers also prevents any further legal action.
As we have previously stated, how you interpret our posts and how you perceive their delivery is subjective. It is no longer a matter of fact.
