Not a snack, but still very satisfying 😉

✨Meet the peanut ball✨

One of birth’s most underrated MVPs! This funky looking inflatable can do some pretty amazing things during labour.

A peanut ball is most often placed between the labouring person’s legs while resting in bed (often in a side-lying position). It can help:

✨Open the pelvis
✨Encourage baby to rotate into a better position
✨Support progress in labour
✨Keep the pelvis active even while resting

Basically, it helps create space where space is needed!

Bonus: this little peanut-shaped powerhouse is included with our birth pool rentals 😉 Check out for more info on our rentals!

✨Let’s talk about breast pumps✨

Breast pumps aren’t one-size-fits-all!

Knowing your options ahead of time can make postpartum feel a little more supported and a lot less overwhelming. Here are some of the more conventional options!

✨ Silicone collectors
Gentle suction, no motor. Great for catching letdown on the opposite side during feeds or building a small stash without actively pumping.

✨ Manual pumps
Hand-powered and simple. Quiet, portable, and helpful for occasional pumping, relieving engorgement, or when you don’t want to set up a full pump.

✨ Wearable pumps
Cord-free and discreet. Fit inside your bra and allow more movement. Very helpful for busy parents, though suction and output can vary.

✨ Plug-in / electric pumps
Often the most efficient for establishing or maintaining supply. Commonly used for regular pumping, returning to work, or exclusive pumping.

As a doula, I help families talk through which tools actually fit their feeding goals, lifestyle, and postpartum plan 💛

✨ Informed choice is the goal ✨

Refusing every intervention out of fear
is the same as accepting every intervention out of fear.

Birth isn’t about “all yes” or “all no”! It’s about understanding your options, your values, and your body .

As a doula, I support you with education before birth and help you navigate decisions in the moment, so fear doesn’t get to lead 💛

POV: You thought a doula was just for birth, but she’s also your feeding hype woman ✨

At my recent event SO many of moms asked if I support with lactation (and infant feeding in general!).

The answer is YES, I do offer non-medical support with breastfeeding or bottle feeding 💛

Here’s what that can look like:

✨Helping you get comfy + confident during feeds
✨Gentle guidance with latch basics (no clinical pressure)
✨ Supporting pumping + combo feeding routines
✨Reading baby’s hunger/fullness cues together
✨Holding space for the emotions that come with feeding
✨Including partners so no one feels left out
✨Creating calm, cozy feeding vibes

Whether it’s breast, bottle, or both, fed with support feels different 💛

When you hear the word birth, what comes to mind?✨

Fear, strength, uncertainty, empowerment?

Our beliefs about birth are shaped by personal experiences, stories we’ve heard, and the support we expect to receive. As a doula, my role is to provide evidence-based information, continuous support, and a calm, grounded presence so you feel informed, supported, and heard throughout your journey 💛

Empowered birth isn’t luck.

It’s preparation.
It’s advocacy.
It’s the right support.

Hiring a doula can change everything ✨

If you want a birth where you feel informed, heard, and powerful, let’s chat 💛

Yesterday I had the honor of attending a powerful birth💛

This sweet baby boy arrived right on his due date, and surprised his parents by being a boy!

Mom and dad both showed so much strength, teamwork, and love, even when unexpected complications arose. Watching them navigate those moments together was truly moving ✨

Birth can be beautiful and empowering, but it can also be unpredictable. When things don’t go as planned, birth events can sometimes feel overwhelming or even traumatic.

A traumatic birth experience can impact both parents, showing up as anxiety, intrusive thoughts, difficulty processing what happened, trouble bonding, sleep issues, or feeling disconnected or emotional in the postpartum period.

As a doula, I also offer postnatal consultations to help families debrief and gently process the events of their birth, because what you went through matters. You don’t have to carry it alone 💛

If you’re finding the postpartum period hard, please know that support is available 💛 Don’t be afraid to reach out to someone you trust or a professional for help. You deserve care too.

Been quiet on the feed, but so much happening behind the scenes!

Here’s a little look at what is currently in the works 💛

-Prepping for my first mama event as a vendor ( on February 12th at )

-Growing my lending library (with little love notes tucked inside💛)

-Deepening my knowledge through podcasts & e-books (been enjoying so much!)

-Creating a very special collaboration series! Details coming soon ✨

Next up, I will be working on more educational content for my feed. It is worth the wait, I promise💛

Alongside doula work, I hold degrees in Social Work and Autism & Behavioural Science, which strongly shape the way I support families; with compassion, evidence-based care, and respect for every individual journey 💛
