We’re highlighting pharmacy professionals on the CPhA team whose work helps strengthen pharmacy practice and support patient care across Canada this .

Today we’re featuring Tomilola Grant, Project Lead for the RxClimate Action Project at CPhA. Tomi is leading a project that will equip with the knowledge and tools needed to support communities facing climate-driven health risks.

💬 What’s your favourite part of your work at CPhA?

My favorite part of my work is being able to sit at the intersection of pharmacy practice and public health. I truly enjoy collaborating with colleagues across disciplines to advance meaningful initiatives that support the profession and improve population health.

đź’¬ How does your work support pharmacy teams or patient care in Canada?

My work strengthens the capacity of pharmacy teams to enhance health outcomes by promoting evidence-informed practices. Previously, I helped develop tools that improve access to sexual and reproductive health services, and more recently, I have focused on raising awareness about climate-sensitive infectious diseases—work that equips pharmacists to anticipate emerging patient needs and respond with confidence and expertise.
