For those of you who follow me still and wonder what I am up to!

I did receive a permanent offer with Willis College. I will remain the Massage Therapy Program Coordinator.

This means I will not return to practice at any capacity in the near future. I understand some of you will have been hoping I would as the year comes to an end of my temporary position! And I know I was honest with yall about that! I was sure that I’d remain but I wasn’t sure at what capacity or if I’d do half teaching and half practice again.

But the decision has been made. I was born to move up the ladder and help contribute to education! I AM pleased and very happy to announce this to you! If you are still struggling to find a really great RMT, I have met many new wonderful connections in my role. I’d be happy to help you individually if you still haven’t found the right person.

Well!!! It’s been a journey that’s for sure.
I am currently booking clients now, mostly all clients. I am still not at the point that I can see my deepest of pressure clients but I’m getting close. So if you have not heard from me for whatever reason yet, please feel free to reach out. I am ready to book you an appointment!

Hello everyone.
I am happy to announce that over the next two weeks I’ll be in touch with the first wave of people to come back for treatments in august.
You’ll all have to be patient with me as this will be a slow transition.
I have grouped you all into 3 groups which are prioritized on need.
I’ll be back full time in September hopefully. But I will take august to build my stamina back up. thanks for your patience during my recovery!

Another update for y’all.
I saw my surgeons yesterday. Sounds like I’m doing well considering the infection that took me almost 4 weeks to clear.
I’m still tired and upset from the antibiotics. But here I go, it’s only up from here. Hopeful to be back at work end of July!!! Slow starts and easy clients to begin with. I’ll be in touch directly soon. I resume teaching in a week. Let’s see how that goes and then I can decide how to approach my return to clinic with clients! Just figured some of you would want to know a little ahead what my timeline looks like.

Well today marks 2 weeks since surgery.
I am coming along. I did have a post op infection which set me back a bit and had me sleeping a lot. But I am finally feeling a little more normal each day! Thanking everyone for messages that have m been sent to brighten my days!

Just wanted to let you all know the my procedure went exactly as expected and I’m at home recovering. I have great home nurses. I am feeling well and am taking the time to rest. They have given me good meds and I’ll be back to my usual self soon hopefully. thank you all for your support messages and love. I Appreciate it.

The mask mandate continues for health care settings until April27th.
The building will no longer have a requirement for entry however we will require you to enter the clinic with a mask on. Masks will be provided should you arrive without one.

I will remain open during the new restrictions put in place for ontario. We continue to disinfect all surfaces. We take more time in between clients to ensure that we have adequate time for all of the cleaning and preparations.
I do ask that people don’t arrive too soon for appointments, I am not able to have you wait in my waiting room or have you chat for too long after the sessions. I do require some of that time for charting as well as all the cleaning! I know you all know I’m stretched a bit thin these days. However, I am grateful that we can see eachother still and am so happy to see each and everyone of you!

It’s been a while and I’m sure that you’re all wondering when I’ll be back at work. I have decided to send the kids back to school in September and I’ll be drafting up a schedule this week. I’ll keep you all posted on what that will look like. I’m not planning to return full time so there will be changes to adapt to. However I’m definitely looking forward to seeing you for treatments. I’ll be connecting with you all when I’m ready to schedule!
However, I haven’t worked doing massage therapy since March so you’ll have to be patient while I find my groove and pace again! Thanks for being so supportive always and understanding during these crazy times.
