Dec 29, 30 (full days) and 31 (morning only), physician and nurse practitioner s are seeing patients on a walk in basis. The phones will be off, just walk in to the clinic to be seen. You may not be seeing your physician as we are taking patients in by the order they arrive. The reason this is done between Christmas and the New Year is to help access. If you are need of a prescription renewal, please contact your pharmacy who can assist with the process.
The Wyoming Access to Care Clinic will be open the same hours but their regular process remains to call the clinic to schedule an appointment, not walk in.

It was such a pleasure to welcome Cheryl’s ESL class from the YMCA Adult Learning Centre to our pharmacy today! Sam gave the group a behind-the-scenes look at how our team works together to prepare prescriptions and support patients’ health. They also learned about the kinds of questions they might be asked when visiting a pharmacy as a patient. We’re always happy to connect with our community and be part of their learning experience.

We’re open today, but as we do every year, we’ll be pausing at 11 a.m. to observe moments of silence in honour of Remembrance Day. Our phones will be on hold during this time as we take a few moments to reflect and remember.

☀️Today we’re shining a light on the sunshine vitamin, which plays an important role supporting strong bones, muscles and immune health. Here in Canada, many of us don’t get enough vitamin D, especially through our long winters. 🇨🇦

You can make sure you’re receiving enough vitamin D by combining sunshine (safely!), vitamin D-rich foods (e.g., fatty fish, egg yolks, fortified milk/plant beverages) and a supplement if needed.

The recommended amount of supplemental vitamin D typically ranges between 400IU-2,000IU per day, depending on age and various risk factors for deficiency. Chat with one of our pharmacist to learn if a supplement is necessary and the dose that’s right for you!
