You’re Allowed to Need Support

Thursday Chats with a Therapist 💚

A gentle reminder:

Needing support doesn’t mean you’re weak.
It means you’re human.

We’re wired for connection. Trying to handle everything alone often increases stress, anxiety, and burnout.

Reaching out, even just to say “I’m having a hard day” — is a healthy coping skill.

Who can you text today just to check in?

Winter can feel heavy ❄️ short days, busy schedules, and a lot on our minds.

This weekend, consider slowing down, checking in with yourself, and doing one small thing that supports your wellbeing.

💙 Blue Monday 💙

Today is often called Blue Monday, a day many people feel a little heavier, more tired, and more overwhelmed than usual.

If today feels hard, you are not weak. You are human.

At Family Counselling Centre, we want you to know you don’t have to carry everything alone. Whether you’re navigating stress, relationships, parenting, grief, anxiety, or simply feeling stuck 🤝 support is here, and hope is real.

Some days, strength looks like getting out of bed.
Some days, it looks like asking for help.
Both are brave.

Be gentle with yourself today.
And if you need someone to walk beside you, we’re here. 💙
