Swelling is expected right after injections and can be influenced by:
• Numbing cream
• Filler containing lidocaine
• Individual sensitivity

As healing begins, lips typically decrease in swelling by 20–30% over the next several days, revealing a softer, more natural final result.

As this year comes to a close, I’ve been reflecting on what it truly means to own and grow a spa.

This year had highs that filled my cup, watching clients walk out feeling confident, calm, and cared for. Building a space rooted in holistic self-care, medical aesthetics, and genuine connection. Welcoming new faces, expanding services, collaborating with incredible women, and seeing this vision come to life. We also surpassed our one year anniversary in Sept which is such an accomplishment.

And then there were the lows. The behind the scenes stress, long days, late nights, financial pressure, self-doubt, and moments where I questioned if I was doing enough or doing it right. The parts no one sees but every business owner feels.

Owning a spa isn’t just treatments and amazing spaces. It’s responsibility, growth, resilience, and learning to show up even when it’s hard.

I’m proud of how far we’ve come, grateful for every client who trusted us, and deeply thankful for my incredible team and the support from our community that made this year possible.

Here’s to a new year of growth, balance, healing, and continuing to choose ourselves inside and out.
