Did you know that Bluewater First Aid hosts at least one Canadian Red Cross Babysitting course per month? What a great way for your child to gain valuable information on babysitting and staying home safely. Our next course will be on Nov 22 from 9:00am-4:00pm.

With cold weather upon us, there are more then 3 million Canadians that have asthma, a chronic condition characterized by cough, shortness of breath, chest tightness, and wheezing. Cold weather is a trigger for asthma. We sometimes get forgetful in carrying our inhaler this time of year. You never know when you might need it. As a First Aider would you know how to help?

This November, be the somebody who saves a life

November is CPR Month and the Canadian Red Cross challenges everyone to get the training they need to help save a life. Effective bystander CPR, when used in conjunction with an AED and administered immediately following cardiac arrest, can double a person’s chance of survival.
-More than 50,000 Canadians die of heart disease every year.
-Nearly 60% of Canadians who have had to perform first aid did so to help a family member.
-Canadians who have taken a first aid course are considerably more confident in their skills to be able to help someone experiencing a medical emergency.

We are seeking a dynamic and organized individual to serve as both a First Aid Instructor and
Office Administrator. This hybrid role requires someone with strong interpersonal, instructional, and administrative skills. The ideal candidate will be trained and certified through this employer to teach first aid courses. You must be capable of managing daily office operations to support smooth and efficient business functioning. This is a 40 plus hour a week position and a driver license and vehicle is required.
