Welcome to the page of Sarnia Lambton's Canadian Red Cross Training Partner. Bluewater First Aid Training Centre will be offering First Aid & CPR/AED training. We will be offering CPR, Emergency First Aid, Standard First Aid, Re-certifications and Advanced courses (First Responder, Emergency Medical Responder and O2). We are WSIB recognized and OH&S approved trainers. Flexible course dates are available to meet busy schedules and courses are facilitated by professional Canadian Red Cross Instructors. 🥶Frostbites can happen quickly and most often impact toes, feet, fingers, hands, ears, and nose.

👇If you see these signs:

1️⃣If possible, remove anything restricting blood flow (boots, gloves, jewelry). Thaw the area only if you are sure it will not freeze again.

2️⃣ Warm the area gradually using warm (not hot) water or body heat. If the frozen area has thawed, don’t break any blisters. Protect them with loose, dry dressings.

3️⃣ If possible, elevate any thawed extremities above the level of the heart.

4️⃣ Rehydrate the person by providing plenty of fluids and encourage the person to seek medical attention.

Welcome to the page of Sarnia Lambton's Canadian Red Cross Training Partner. Bluewater First Aid Training Centre started in 2014 with one employee and now has grown to two locations with 14 team members, specializing in First Aid & CPR/AED training, Emergency First Aid, Standard First Aid, Re-certifications, Instructor courses and Advanced courses (First Responder, Emergency Medical Responder and O2). 3M MOL approved Working at Heights certification, Psychological First Aid and sales and service of First Aid kits, AED & medical supplies. BWFA is WSIB recognized and OH&S approved trainers. Flexible course dates are available to meet busy schedules and courses are facilitated by professional Canadian Red Cross Instructors at our training center or yours.
