Six years ago today, I had surgery to remove a tumour from my lung — a day that changed everything. 💙

Sharing this isn’t easy, but it’s Lung Cancer Awareness Month, and if my story reminds even one person to listen to their body or take action on their health, it’s worth every word.

This guy…
This was before he had his staples out, which was when he was in the most amount of pain in this whole journey.

But even then he was trying to crack jokes and have a laugh.

Yes, his many years of weight lifting and a well rounded mobility/stability focus have definitely helped his recovery, but his mindset has too.

Your mindset is your superpower.
If you’re facing a health challenge, your mindset is the strongest medicine you carry.

Surgery may challenge your body, but your thoughts shape your comeback.

Focus on the small wins—because they add up to a BIG recovery. 💪✨
