I tried the Elite iQ on my spider veins. I am so impressed with the results!

I’ve also tried Sclerotherapy with two doctors for those specific spiders and they were really hard to get with a needle and I didn’t see any improvement.

With the laser we don’t have that problem. They are so easy to target and the treatment is fast and effective. It just feels like a hot elastic band snapping against the skin.

The before photos (left) were taken last fall when I started using AlumierMD’s Rejuvenating Collection. Since then I’ve done an Alumier Enzymatic Peel Treatment and one microneedling treatment.

I am so impressed with the reduction in pigment and how my skin tone and texture has changed.

Now that we are in our official VIVI Medspa space we can use our Elite IQ laser. A laser facial is next on my list.

I’m hooked!!

Did you grow up eating Hot Cross Buns this time of year? My mom always bought them, I didn’t think much of them when I was a kid but now I love them!

I enjoyed one this morning with a cup of coffee as I reflected on my mom and all the traditions she taught us over the years.

I think neuromuscular blockers (Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, Nuceiva) are pretty cool.

There are many “off-label” uses for them such as for treatment of the Mentalis (chin muscle) and Depressor Anguli Oris (frown muscle).

Once injected they block the nerve signal being sent to the muscle and it relaxes, giving the desired effect.
It usually last about 3 months in most people.

This is me. 😊 I’m 43, married with two kids + a dog, work full time and over the last few years have personally experienced the ups and downs of life. Although I love the wisdom I have acquired with aging, I have also begun to notice changes in my skin tone and texture that I don’t like.
So....I thought about it and realized that as a nurse I have the opportunity to learn about aesthetic medicine for myself and to share with my patients. With so many options available there is something to help everyone feel their personal best.
