Today we had a little visit from the super talented Dance Fusion, who put on an unforgettable performance for our residents today! We can’t thank enough for making our residents day extra special as they thoroughly enjoyed themselves. A great to get everyone into the Christmas spirit! ✨

We’d love to wish a very happy birthday to one of our truly amazing residents, who is celebrating being 86 years young!

She spent the day out celebrating with her wonderful family and friends, and the festivities didn’t stop there, she was later welcomed back with another round of birthday cheer from our staff and fellow residents.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us at our Christmas Fayre. It was truly wonderful to see so many familiar faces, along with friends and family, coming together to celebrate the season with us.

A special shout-out goes to our incredible staff and residents, who worked so hard behind the scenes to bring everything together and make the day such a success.

We’d also like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to our fantastic stallholders, vendors, and helpers who generously gave their time and effort to make the fayre extra special.

Finally, a big thank you to everyone who donated such amazing prizes for our tombola and raffle, your generosity was very much appreciated by all of us here at Meadowvale.

We hope you all have a wonderful holiday season! 🎄✨

We had a nice day here at Meadowvale today.

We started the morning with our exercise session led by the handsome lads from Burns Gym. The residents gave it their all and made it look far too easy.

After that we played some balloon tennis and a few rounds of dominoes to keep everyone moving and thinking.

A number of our residents enjoyed their lunch in the conservatory, taking in the lovely view while staying warm and cosy inside.

Several residents had their hair done by our fantastic stylist, which always brings out plenty of smiles.

We also celebrated a special birthday today. One of our wonderful residents turned 84 and enjoyed his day with family, staff, and a delicious cake made by our chef.

And finally, we’ve been busy putting the finishing touches on for our Christmas Fair for tomorrow at 13:30. We hope to see you there! 🎄

We had a fun and festive day here at Meadowvale 🎄

We started the morning with some Christmas classics and a bit of dancing, with plenty of residents joining in on the musical instruments too.

As you can see from our very snazzy jumpers, today was our Christmas Jumper Day and everyone looked brilliant. Some of our residents enjoyed their lunch in the conservatory, making the most of the good food and great company.

This afternoon we had a special visit from Steve Firth from Regal Radio, who came to record a short Christmas show with our residents. A few of them even got the chance to help present the show and request their favourite Christmas song. We’ll let you know when it’s due to be broadcast, so stay tuned!

A couple of our residents also had a lovely day out doing their Christmas shopping!

To finish the evening off, some of our ladies enjoyed getting their nails done thanks to our wonderful Twilight staff.

Today at Meadowvale we had a fun trip to the Snow White Pantomime at the Reconnect Regal Theatre in Bathgate. Our residents had an amazing time watching the performance of the actors and younger performers. 🎭Our residents are looking forward to a return Pantomime experience in 2026. Thank you to the performers today for giving Meadowvale Care Home a shout out today.

It’s been a busy day today here at Meadowvale. We had a visit to St Mary’s Primary School where we enjoyed the children’s Nativity play. ✝️Our residents loved the performances and the singing and playing of musical instruments. They also loved being able to join in with Christmas Carols. 🎻🎼

Later staff were busy preparing for the Christmas Fayre on Saturday 13th Dec. We look forward to seeing you on the day.
