To show our appreciation, we presented her with a beautiful boutique of flowers, a small token of our recognition for her commitment and kindness.

The highlight of the day was the celebration of a very special birthday. Residents and staff came together to shower the birthday man with love, presenting an array of colourful cards filled with warm wishes. Down in the conservatory, there was a relaxed atmosphere as residents enjoyed colouring while listening to music - a perfect way to unwind.

After dinner, our Gentlemanโ€™s Club brought everyone together for board games, good conversation, and more music to round off the evening.

A shout out to one of our fabulous residents for helping our staff setting up and cleaning up after our lunch club today, as they were a massive help to our busy team of staff!

Lots of smiles and laughter here at Meadowvale today, with just a touch of friendly competitiveness ๐Ÿ˜Š

This morning we got moving with a virtual gym session hosted by the team at Burns Gym and everyone gave it their absolute best, a fantastic start to the day.

Before lunch, we enjoyed a few rounds of dominoes in the conservatory, where residents even spotted a curious little โ€œfur babyโ€ popping by to see what was going on ๐Ÿพ

The afternoon brought some meaningful one-to-one time, particularly for those who prefer quieter moments and smaller groups.

We also had fun with a variety of games using simple everyday items, including a new challenge where residents tried to knock as many balloons out of a box as possible using three bean bags. Safe to say it brought plenty of laughs and a bit of friendly rivalry! These games are particularly popular with our residents as many of them remember when they used to make up games out of nothing!
