Nope - I'm not going to the Jungle🐒

But I AM going to try and make every part of 2026 a big exciting adventure.

Try to take a fresh look at the washing up, making the beds going to the shops and see if the world opens up into a place where the mundane sparkles with the magic of the universe✨ and each day is filled with awe and wonder.✨

How amazing if we could turn the whole of 2026 into lots of little amazing adventures!!!🦍🐍🦜🦎

❄️I've just shared the LAST practice of the year !!!!!!!❄️

I will miss all the beautiful faces that join me every week either in the Butterfly yoga studio or elsewhere in West Lothian BUT it will be 2026 before you know it !!
So ...

❄️Turn every SECOND of the rest of year into an ADVENTURE
❄️Spend the season under BLANKETS and PARTYING till the small hours
❄️Share you time with family and friends but still keep enough for yourself
❄️Defer as much as you can till later so you can enjoy some stillness ( with blue cheese and port of course🥳)

Be kind and be awesome and I'll hopefully see all my old favourites and maybe some new favourites on the mat in Jan!!!

Advent of Words to live by… ✨

Every day in December I will be posting an advent-calendar-style message you need to hear.

I love a good advent calendar and these days we have chocolate advent calendars, cosmetics coffee, you name it.

I will be bringing you little parcels of comfort, hope, or just a perspective shift to move you out of overwhelmed and back into calm and peaceful.
Or at the very least, grateful: Because the state of gratitude is a powerful thing.

I will also be suggesting a journalling prompt you can carry out to help yourself or a small act of kindness to add to the ripple effect that keeps the whole world facing the light.

(This may seem like a task (and you have more than enough of those) but this will return the energy to you ten-fold in power 🤩.)

It is not easy, this life, even when it is wonderful. We need one another. And we need reminders of the fact that we are not alone, never, ever alone.

This community is a kind one.

What a thing.

Today… give yourself a treat of some kind - be that space from guilt and criticism in your thoughts or an hour of you-time doing whatever fuels your soul.

You are worthy.
