🕊️ FAQ Friday: What Happens During a Cremation Service? 🕊️
A cremation service is a meaningful way to honour a loved one’s life. It typically includes a ceremony—which can be religious or non-religious and held in our chapel.
Service content duration should be around 40-45 minutes long but additional chapel time can be booked if required. Services are booked hourly on the half hour i.e. 9.30am, 10.30am etc and we allow comfortable time for families to enter and exit the chapel in the 60 minute period booked.
Families often personalise the service with:
📖You can choose an officiant to support you. It is your choice whether you choose a religious minister or a civil celebrant.
🎶 Music; we typically allow up to 5 pieces of music during the service
💭 Personal Eulogies can be delivered
📽 Visual Tributes of Photographs can be arranged set to music
After the ceremony, the cremation takes place with dignity and care and it is our objective to ensure that your loved one can be returned within 24 hours of the service taking place.
Whether traditional or unique, every service is designed to reflect the wishes of the family and celebrate the life of the person being remembered.
