❄️ Caring for Our Community This New Year ❄️

As we step into the first weekend of the new year, we’re reminded of the importance of looking out for one another—especially with the forecast hinting at snow next week from Tuesday . Winter can be a challenging time, and moments of remembrance often feel even heavier in the cold.

At Trent Valley Crematorium, we’re committed to providing a warm, welcoming space for reflection and support. If you’re visiting us, please take extra care on the roads and paths, and don’t hesitate to reach out if you need assistance during your time here.

If you are visiting our grounds on Monday, 5th January, between 2:00pm and 3:30 pm, our Chapel will be open for you to light a candle in memory of your loved one. You’re welcome to sit in a warm, peaceful space and enjoy a complimentary hot drink whilst reflecting on their memory.

Q: What time should I arrive at the crematorium for a service I am attending?

A: We recommend arriving around 10–15 minutes before the service starts - our services always start on the half hour, every hour from 9.30am. This gives you plenty of time to park and make your way to chapel entrance without feeling rushed.

Please try not to arrive too early, as you may experience issues with parking on busy days.

If you are travelling by public transport or arrive a little early, don’t worry — we have a comfortable waiting room with a hot drinks machine where you can relax until it’s time for the service.

Set within beautiful and tranquil surroundings, at Trent Valley Crematorium we have ensured that every detail is designed to offer peace and dignity. We know how important it is to say goodbye in a way that feels right — and saying your final goodbyes doesn’t mean you should compromise on what you want for your loved one and neither should it have to cost the earth.

Did you know that the price difference between a Simple Unattended Cremation and an Attended Direct Cremation with up to 12 mourners or a full attended service at 9.30am or 4.30pm may be less than £300*?

There are various service options available that allow you to have:
