📉📊 January’s stats are in — and they’re looking fantastic!
We’ve seen a huge improvement compared to previous months, and we want to say a big thank you to everyone who’s been helping us make better use of our appointments.

If you can no longer attend your booked appointment — including Walk‑in Centre appointments — please let us know as soon as possible. These slots are valuable to all our patients, and every cancellation we’re informed about helps someone else get the care they need.

Your support genuinely makes a difference. 💙

🎗️ World Cancer Day 🎗️

Cancer may be tough, but the human spirit is tougher.
Today, we raise our voices for awareness, encourage early detection, and stand in solidarity with patients, survivors, and their families.

Every small step toward awareness brings us closer to a cancer-free future.
Let’s spread hope, strength, and compassion. 🌸

Together, we fight. Together, we care.

If you have flu, there are some things you can do to help get better more quickly.

MMRV is now part of the NHS routine childhood vaccination programme, replacing the MMR vaccine.

It protects against measles, mumps, rubella and chickenpox.

Chickenpox is very common and can sometimes lead to serious complications, so vaccination helps reduce the risk of serious illness as children grow.

You don’t need to do anything — your GP will be in touch when your child is due.

Severe weather warnings for snow mean dangerous travel conditions are anticipated across the East Midlands tonight and Friday 9 January. If you can, stay indoors and avoid unnecessary journeys.

Stay warm by heating up your home and wear layers. Ensure you're stocked up with food, water, and basic medicines for coughs and sore throats. Act early if you feel unwell - don't wait to get your symptoms treated.

Snow and ice warnings are in place across the country ❄️

Falls are common, particularly in older people. If you or someone else falls, try to stay calm. Take a couple of minutes to check for any pain or injuries and see if you think you can get up.

If they need further help, call 111 or 999.
