🌿 A Proud Moment for Our Family Team 🌿

Today, we want to take a moment to celebrate Amber, who conducted her first funeral with such professionalism, care, and compassion.

Amber joined our family team on 5th January 2024 as a quiet and very shy 17-year-old, so shy in fact, that she wouldn’t even answer the phone! Over the past year, we’ve watched her grow into a confident, capable, and kind young lady who continues to make us proud every single day.

Our role as funeral professionals often requires us to work all hours, caring for families whenever they need us most. Amber never complains — she steps up, supports her colleagues, and excels in her role in such a calm and compassionate way.

She has achieved so much already, completing her Funeral Arranger Apprenticeship and now preparing to begin her Mortuary Technician Course, continuing to build her skills and knowledge.

Today, as I watched her guide a family through every stage — from the first phone call to the final farewell, I was truly bursting with pride. Amber showed empathy, professionalism, and heartfelt care throughout.

Amber, you represent the next generation of funeral directors, dedicated, compassionate, and deeply committed to serving families in their time of need. We are so proud of how far you’ve come and can’t wait to see where your journey takes you next. 💜

Between arranging services and offering comfort to families, our funeral director, Josh, finds peace in a rather special place, his office fish tank. It’s more than just decoration; it’s a little world he tends with care and patience.

Today, the tank got its regular clean, and Josh took the time to make sure every pebble, plant, and finned friend was looking their best. There’s something soothing about watching the water clear, the bubbles rise, and the fish glide through their glassy home — a gentle reminder that even in our busiest days, small moments of calm matter.

A special thank you to our neighbours at for always being on hand for any fish-related questions Josh always has.

Afterwards, Amber tried to capture a photo of his hard work… but the fish clearly had other plans. Let’s just say they’re great swimmers, but terrible models, always turning their tails to the camera at the last second! 🐠📸

We’re really proud of our Remembrance Day window display this year.
A huge thank you to our good friends at Central Coffins ltd for crafting our beautiful wooden soldiers, a perfect tribute to honour all those who sacrificed so much.
