Somthing for our north Derbyshire people 📷

We are back with our reconnecting with nature for mental health and wellbeing support on the 6th of May,
Everyone is welcome to join this safe space for a bit extra support 😀

We meet at 11am at the Holmehall Community Hub 41 Mercaston Close at 11am and go out a on photography support walk while reconnecting with nature at 12pm 🙂

Its a place to gain some support, make friends, feel part of the community and learn some new skills while connecting with nature 🙂

No pressure to take pics or to talk but if you want to we are here for support 🙂

We also have weekly, fortnightly and monthly peer support, breakfast club, confidence building trips, creative exhibitions, workshops, wellbeing retreat sessions and an art group plus more 😀

In a world that’s always rushing, choosing to slow down is a quiet kind of strength 🌿✨

You don’t have to keep up with everything.
You don’t have to do it all at once.
You don’t have to move at anyone else’s pace.

Slowing down doesn’t mean you’re falling behind, it means you’re listening to what you need 💭

Maybe today that looks like:

🌟 Taking a proper break without guilt
🌟 Saying “not today” to something that feels too much
🌟 Moving gently instead of pushing through
🌟 Giving yourself space to breathe and reset

Why is it that the moment we decide to be productive… suddenly we’re starving, thirsty, need a tea, a coffee, a biscuit, a different biscuit… maybe a little scroll break too? 👀

It’s giving: “I’ll just prepare myself properly first…” vibe
…and somehow we’ve entered a full snack buffet situation 🍪☕😂

But hey, no shame, our brains love a distraction when something feels effort-y.
So let’s work with it, not against it:

👉 Grab your snack… then do 2 minutes of the task
