So much of our stress comes from how we speak to ourselves. Often in ways weโd never speak to anyone else.
Mindfulness helps you notice that inner voice without getting caught up in it ๐ญ
Today, try this:
๐ Pause and listen to your self-talk
๐ Notice if itโs critical, harsh, or unkind
๐ Gently ask, โWould I say this to a friend?โ
๐ If not, soften it. Try a kinder, more understanding response ๐
For example:
๐ญ โIโve messed everything upโ โ โIโm having a tough moment, and thatโs okayโ
๐ญ โIโm not good enoughโ โ โIโm doing my best with what I have right nowโ
This isnโt about pretending everything is perfect, itโs about treating yourself with the same care you give others ๐ฟ
Over time, this can help you feel:
๐ Less self-critical
๐ More emotionally resilient
๐ More supported by your own inner voice
