Big thanks to everyone who has wished me well while I was in hospital. The offers of help have been truly appreciated — from fellow funeral directors, work colleagues, celebrants, vicars, and everyone else. I’m now at home recuperating, and your kindness and support have meant more than I can say. 💙

Just to let everyone know that Marc, the owner of Marc Stephens Funeral Service, was rushed to Derby Royal Hospital by ambulance on Saturday after experiencing severe stomach pain. This was later diagnosed as a perforated appendix. He underwent surgery on Sunday and is currently still in hospital, recovering.

Marc will need to take some time away from work while he rests and recovers. During this time, Senior Funeral Director Gina and June and the rest of the team will be taking care of things and making sure that all families continue to receive the same care, compassion, and support as always.
