Finished my first embroidery 🪡 and a practice stitch kit.
Really enjoyed it and can't wait to do some more. I have brought some more practice kits to learn all the different stitches so I'm looking forward to learning about it.

Pastel mermaid from Lulu Mayo's A Million Magical Creatures

I used Decotime Aqua Markers for the base and Castle arts pastel tints... and on the second picture I tried to do a pastel background using mungyo soft pastels but I wasn't quite happy with that

Really enjoyed colouring this picture of Ariel 🧜‍♀️ in Hatchette Heroes Grands Classiques (mini bloc) over the weekend.

I used a few different supplies; Neocolor ii's, Crayola Supertips, Derwent Chromaflow, and prismacolors and a uni ball signo white gel pen for the highlights.

This month, I wanted to try and join in with some of the Colouring hashtags, which I've never done before... so this one is for by

I have been stuck in a bit of a creative rut recently and struggling to get my head back in to doing the things I enjoy.

It's easy to stress over trying to make things 'perfect' - wanting perfect colour choices, perfect blending, lots of details etc.

So for my bday kris got me some acrylic markers and some disney colour by number books, and I sat and done this. It was so therapeutic. Not having to stress over the things I usually do when I want to colour a picture.

It has definitely got me feeling more creative 😍
