Handmade from scratch, they’re still warm just in time for tea time! 🫖

Happy New Year from all at Brookfields! To celebrate 2026, we had a glorious New Year’s Day buffet! It was enjoyed by all this afternoon 🍰

The New Years menu consisted of: Caramel apple glazed baked ham, poached salmon and prawns, crispy duck and mango Thai salad, roast vegetable and feta orzo salad, Brussel sprout Caesar salad and tomato and basil salad. Followed by pistachio and panettone tiramisu. The residents loved it all!

A very Merry Christmas from all at Brookfields today!

We have had a lovely dinner today for residents and families, and we are all very much in the holiday spirit! 🎄

A huge thank you to all who have supported us this Christmas, and to the wonderful people who have supplied secret santa gifts for our residents, including local cafe Mrs C's Tea Cosy ☕️ We really appreciate it!

Today we baked gingerbread!

We rolled and cut them out this morning, had them bake over lunch and decorated this afternoon! They’re ready to eat with our Christmas film night this evening! 🎄

Today we have been pom pom making again - but with a twist!

Our residents made some animals - reindeers and caterpillars! We had a lovely time chatting, drinking tea and making pompoms!
