Reformer Pilates is one of the best ways I know to calm a busy nervous system.
The slow, controlled movements combined with deep breathing gently move the body out of fight-or-flight and into rest-and-restore mode. The springs give your body feedback, helping your brain feel safe, supported and in control of movement.
When the body feels safe, the nervous system softens.
Heart rate slows.
Breathing deepens.
Muscles release tension.
You leave feeling taller, calmer and more connected to your body.
Not smashed.
Not exhausted.
Just quietly reset.
Honestly… sometimes the mind needs the reformer as much as the body. ✨
