A few touches added to the new van.

A little van that’s easier, cheaper to run and better to advertise my company whilst out and about.
I always try and take pride in appearance as well as quality of work.

And where better to take a few photos, than by the sea in my happy place taking a much needed break to chill out for a day 😁

Massive progress this week again.

The old patio and walls being completely redesigned and modernised

Our latest garden makeover received its finishing touches today.

A new build with tiny concrete slab patio and lawn, completely dug out and redesigned.

With clean modern porcelain paving, quality artificial grass and Oak sleepers that won’t rot.

This garden will be enjoyed by the family for years to come.

This is the second time I’ve done the garden for this family, having worked at their previous house. And 7th time I’ve done a job for the whole family. Just goes to show quality work gets appreciated. 😁💪👍

Well isn’t it nice to have a bit of sun ☀️

Big progress on this huge garden transformation over the past week.
Over 60 ton of soil/clay all barrowed out and a similar amount of concrete and rocks taken for recycling.

A big new retaining wall and built in planter out of natural sandstone walling.
The sandstone is not the easiest to work with but it’s going to look stunning when done.

Then on to the small matter of approx 250 large format porcelain slabs to lay along with more walls and steps.

Cannot wait to see this project finished and planted up in all its glory.

Our latest job, after battling torrential rain for a week.
Back on to the ‘New Build’ gardens with poor soil, zero drainage and boring grey concrete slabs. And this particular estate the fence needed repairs after less than a year.

Anyway, after completely digging out, we installed new drainage, a good solid base for patio and this nice Florence Grey porcelain.
New soil and turf completed the job nicely.

We just need some nice weather now ☀️

Finishing touches adding to this project today.

A lot of unseen structural work gone on with this job building retaining walls, moving drainage and manholes.

What was a useless sloped grass area has been transformed into a big driveway to get the family cars off the road. With over 100 ton of soil removed, footings dug and walls built.

New steps and an access ramp have been constructed, and all finished off with Indian Grey sandstone and matching wall cladding. Black Ice decorative gravel finishes the driveway beautifully.

This has turned out very well 😁

Sorry we’ve been quiet lately.
That doesn’t mean we’ve not been working, actually quite the opposite with working all over Christmas on another school contract.

The task for this job

Take up old ripped rubber matting.
Add drainage as the area floods and floods classroom.
Take down blue brick wall and railings and create an access ramp.

As you can see it’s worked out very well.
New drainage channel cut in. New rubber hopscotch mats and surrounded by porcelain paving that’s easy to clean, and with different colours available has added a bit of character.

The wall was built and designed with more porcelain cladding it to avoid new bricks not matching the existing bricks.

The railings were taken down, cut to sizes and fabricated.

A nice change from the normal garden landscape jobs and very enjoyable to do.
On to the next in half term! 😁💪👍

The finishing touches added to what is one of our largest garden design projects to date. This will look absolutely amazing once the electrician has fitted the final few bits to the lighting.

With extra large format porcelain paving tiles. Specifically made matching bullnose step treads and copings to cap the walls. This was by far one it the most challenging jobs too but working with super high quality materials (London Stone) it also became very rewarding.

Can’t wait to see this in the dark over next few weeks to see the lighting.
