Sorry we’ve been quiet lately.
That doesn’t mean we’ve not been working, actually quite the opposite with working all over Christmas on another school contract.

The task for this job

Take up old ripped rubber matting.
Add drainage as the area floods and floods classroom.
Take down blue brick wall and railings and create an access ramp.

As you can see it’s worked out very well.
New drainage channel cut in. New rubber hopscotch mats and surrounded by porcelain paving that’s easy to clean, and with different colours available has added a bit of character.

The wall was built and designed with more porcelain cladding it to avoid new bricks not matching the existing bricks.

The railings were taken down, cut to sizes and fabricated.

A nice change from the normal garden landscape jobs and very enjoyable to do.
On to the next in half term! 😁💪👍

The finishing touches added to what is one of our largest garden design projects to date. This will look absolutely amazing once the electrician has fitted the final few bits to the lighting.

With extra large format porcelain paving tiles. Specifically made matching bullnose step treads and copings to cap the walls. This was by far one it the most challenging jobs too but working with super high quality materials (London Stone) it also became very rewarding.

Can’t wait to see this in the dark over next few weeks to see the lighting.

What a nice fill in job this is.
Out in the countryside with sheep 🐑 and cows 🐄 as your neighbours.
The instructions were ‘Do what you want we trust you’
And the fatal words of ‘No rush’

But what a property this will be inside and out.

A mixture of old and new with big reclaimed granite rocks to form the steps.
Natural Grey sandstone paving to create a large patio overlooking miles of fields.
Matching paths to link the different areas.
New brick walls to create the different levels and new topsoil and turf which in spring will all look amazing.

Daylight very nearly beat us today.

But after dodging hard frosts, torrential rain the final touches have been put to this small simple but effective patio.

Out with the very old dated crazy paving, replaced with modern Venetian Beige porcelain paving.

Another quality installation 👌 👍

Just some of my recent paving creations I’ve designed, cut and installed for various customers.

Designs for your beloved pets, your favourite football team and Remembrance Day are just some of the ideas.

Now getting a bit more recognition over the country with one design appearing on Homes under the Hammer, and others making local news.

A new design of the Lancaster Bomber is also in its early stages of being cut too, which I’m sure with fit in well in a display somewhere.

Simple but affective.

This corner of our customers garden was getting overgrown and the little fence starting to rot.

Completely ripped out, the soil dug out we have created a little raised patio with porcelain paving.

A little patio project finished today.

Out with the old original concrete slabs.
Removal of some turf to extend patio.

New oak sleepers to create raised borders.
Indian Raj Green sandstone paving to create this stunning little patio.

Our latest project recently completed.

No before photos of this one but was a small tired looking patio with old concrete slabs and a lawn ruined by tree roots.

The whole garden was dug out including the lawn,and a large new porcelain patio (Steel grey with charcoal border) with quite a few intricate cuts.

New oak sleepers create a raised border and new topsoil and quality turf to finish off.

As always a massive thanks the London Stone for supplying quality materials again and again.

A little patio that looked like Stevie Wonder had laid previously with a strange design of drainage and terrible manhole covers.

Completely ripped out and started from scratch with natural grey sandstone paving, new realigned drainage and recessed drain covers to give the best effort at disguising them.

As the school summer holidays reach the end.
Here are some of things we’ve been up to.

Removal and reinstate children’s trim trail
Block pave a path several hundred metres winding its way through school fields and barrow in a few tons of topsoil to level areas up so it’s easy to mow later.
