Easter is just around the corner! Here is a reminder that our normal Friday and Monday clinics will be closed over the bank holiday weekend:

Good Friday closures:
* Florence Nightingale Community Hospital (Will be open as normal on Saturday)
* Long Eaton Health Centre
* Wheatbridge
* Whitworth Hospital

Easter Monday closures:
* Florence Nightingale Community Hospital
* Ashbourne St Oswald's Hospital
* Peartree Clinic
* Wheatbridge
* Shirebrook Health Centre

The human papillomavirus (HPV) is a common virus that can cause certain types of cancer and ge***al warts. The HPV vaccine is a safe and effective way to protect yourself and others from these risks.

💉 The vaccine is available for:
✔️ All children aged 12-13 (offered in schools)
✔️ Anyone eligible who missed it at school – you can still get vaccinated for free up to age 25
✔️ Men who have s*x with men (MSM) up to age 45
✔️ Others at higher risk, including some immunocompromised individuals

HPV is spread through intimate skin-to-skin contact, so vaccination is the best way to prevent infection and protect future health.

Our next clinic at Derbion is tomorrow 📢

Free, friendly and confidential s*xual health support for under-21s is available in the heart of Derby.

Visit our team at the Derbion Community Hub on Wednesday 4th March, 2pm–6pm.

Services include:
• Contraception support (including emergency contraception)
• Confidential STI screening and testing
• Free condoms and safer s*x advice
• Non-judgemental, professional support

You can drop in on the day or book ahead. Appointments can be booked online via our website or by calling our booking line.

This week is Sexual Abuse and Sexual Violence Awareness Week.

Sexual violence can take many forms, including any s*xual act or attempt to obtain a s*xual act by force, coercion, or targeting someone’s s*xuality - regardless of their relationship to the victim.

No one should have to experience s*xual violence, and support is available for those who need it. If you or someone you know needs help, reach out to a trusted organisation for confidential support.

Let’s raise awareness, break the silence, and work together to end s*xual violence.
