We’re all ready for Easter here at The Firs! Our lovely decorations are up, bringing a real springtime feel throughout the home. 🐣🌸

Our residents have had a wonderful time getting creative, colouring in beautiful Easter eggs to display – and they look fantastic! It’s been such a joyful and engaging activity for everyone involved.

We’re looking forward to celebrating together and making even more special memories this Easter! 💛

🐣 Easter Fun at The Firs! 🐰

We had a wonderful time playing “Guess What’s in the Box” – Easter edition! 🎁
Residents loved using their sense of touch to guess the hidden items, which included eggs, carrots, and fluffy little chicks 🥕🐥

There were lots of laughs, great guesses, and plenty of Easter cheer all around. A simple game that brought so much joy 💛

A Lovely Morning of Worship Together 💒

Today at The Firs, we were delighted to welcome our friends from St Michael’s Church, Breaston for our monthly church service. It was a peaceful and meaningful time, filled with familiar hymns, prayers, and reflection.

Our residents always look forward to these special visits, and it was wonderful to see everyone coming together, sharing smiles and enjoying the sense of community.

A heartfelt thank you to the team from St Michael’s for bringing such warmth and comfort to our home—we truly appreciate your continued support.

🎉 Bingo Fun at The Firs! 🎉

Our weekly bingo session is always a highlight here at The Firs! 💛 There’s nothing better than seeing our residents come together for a bit of friendly competition, lots of laughter, and of course… shouting “BINGO!” 🥳

It’s more than just a game — it’s a chance to socialise, reminisce, and create joyful moments together. We love seeing the smiles it brings every week!

Simple Games, Big Smiles 🎉

This game reminded us that sometimes the simplest ideas bring the most laughter! We had so much fun with a game using a pool noodle, some string, and a ball—trying to knock balls off paper cups. It sounds easy… but the giggles said otherwise! 😄

🎈 Balloon Tennis Fun! 🎈

We had a fantastic time playing balloon tennis using foam pool noodles! 🏓✨
Lots of laughter, gentle exercise, and great teamwork all around – a simple activity that brought so much joy to everyone involved 💛

It’s amazing how something so simple can create such fun moments!
