🍿Cosy Movie Afternoons🍿

While the weather was gloomy outside, we stayed snug and warm indoors enjoying Love Actually on our big projector. 🎬✨

Our residents absolutely love choosing the films for our movie afternoons — it’s always a lovely mix of favourites, classics, and a few surprises! 💛
There’s something so special about everyone gathering together, sharing laughs and enjoying a cosy film as a community.

🎯 Bean Bag Toss Fun! 🎯

We had a great time playing a fun game of bean bag toss here at The Firs! 😄✨

There was lots of laughter, friendly competition, and plenty of cheering as everyone took their turn aiming for the target. 🎉

It’s such a simple but brilliant way to stay active and enjoy each other’s company! 💛

🌺 Remembrance Day at The Firs 🌺

Today we commemorated Remembrance Day with a lovely afternoon tea, complete with jam and cream scones (and of course, plenty of tea!). ☕🍰

Our residents also helped add a poppy to our window display and took time to write heartfelt messages and memories of the war. ❤️

We will remember them. 🌹

🎈 Balloon Knockdown Fun at The Firs! 🎯

Today our residents enjoyed a lively and laughter-filled game of Balloon Knockdown! Using plastic balls, everyone had a go at knocking balloons off cups — and there was plenty of cheering each time one went flying! It was a fantastic way to stay active, social, and have a bit of light-hearted fun together. 💛

❤️ Lest We Forget ❤️

Today at The Firs, we pause to remember and honour all those who served and sacrificed for our freedom. 🌹

Our residents came together in reflection, sharing memories and stories, and taking a moment of silence to give thanks to the brave men and women who gave so much. Their courage and selflessness will never be forgotten. 🇬🇧

Our residents always have a great time during bingo — the excitement, the laughter, and of course, the prizes! 🏆✨ It’s one of our favourite activities here at The Firs, and there’s never a dull moment when those numbers start calling! 🎉

🎆 A Lovely Visit from Breaston Preschool! 🎇

Today we had a wonderful first visit from the children at Breaston Preschool. Everyone had such a lovely time making colourful firework pictures together to celebrate Bonfire Night! 💥✨

Thank you to the little ones (and their teachers!) for bringing so much joy and creativity to The Firs — we hope to see you all again very soon! 💛
