As some resident doctors with the BMA have the option of taking part in strike action until 7am on Wednesday, we've been asking you for help in choosing the right service for your needs.

It's not always easy knowing which service treats a specific condition but this short video, from the Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland area, lays it out in less than a minute and is relevant to all areas.

The consequences of Storm Claudia are being felt across the Midlands with flooding affecting large parts of the region.

It's been just over a week since we started providing services at Corby Urgent Treatment Centre and we've brought in a system that will streamline the patient check in.

eTriage enables patients to check in electronically, with support from the reception team if needed, giving clinicians real time access to information that helps them identify the most urgent cases more quickly.

We've used it at our UTCs in Derby and Loughborough to great effect - you can read more about it here...

💙 Celebrating Loyal Service at DHU 💙

Following our Loyal Service event, led by our Chief Executive, Stephen Bateman, we were reminded of the compassion, commitment and care our people do everyday. It was an emotional and inspiring celebration - a moment to reflect on why we do what we do, together.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing some of these short stories. Next up, meet Carl Keeble, our Advanced Clinical Trainer, who recently celebrated five years of loyal service. Here’s what Carl shared about why he continues his journey with us. 💫
