The Fig Derby Just a quirky healthshop and also WINNER of Best Independent Shop in Derbyshire 2025 Keep it local, support your independents!

I stock a wide range of Zero waste items and refills, natural remedies including vitamin supplements, natural creams and lotions, pure essential oils, homeopathic tablets, tinctures and ointments, herbs, local honey, herbal teas, protein powders and much more. I don't stock gimmicks or own brand goods at made up prices because you can get that somewhere else! I can be found in the Eagle Market about half way down, straight up from the ramp or straight down from Sainsbury's.

As the year rolls to an end, it’s definitely been a time of change at The Fig Derby… it’s not been an easy start to Sadler Gate but I’ve survived… I’m a Scorpio and amongst the attributes we have, we’re all about rebirth 🤗

AND SO…

I made the shop bigger ☑️

Won an award for the BEST independent shop in Derbyshire ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☑️

Got myself a fridge ☑️

Installed new lighting ☑️

Introduced lots of products ☑️

Made connections with other small business ☑️

Increased footfall ☑️

…and pushed the business to the best year ever 💫 ☑️

And generally worked bloody hard ☑️☑️☑️☑️☑️

But, There’s so much more to achieve in 2026 … ⭐️

Thanks to everyone who was a part of The Fig in 2025… you’ve all been amazing, and you’re what makes it heart beat 💓
