I finally got to try out Wine & Words By Watson today - it's a lovely space with a great atmosphere, and I enjoyed my decaff flat white! Definitely worth a visit if you've not been before!

We've picked up a few new followers recently, so I wanted to take this opportunity to introduce us and explain what Formby GP is all about.

We are Dr Heather and Dr John - a married couple who are both GPs. We started this business because patients desperately want to see a GP face-to-face, and we know that many of you are finding that difficult within the NHS currently. We are proud to offer face-to-face 30 minute appointments as standard, so we have time to get to know you, and we only offer tests and treatments which are evidence-based. Our service is for people of all ages who want to be able to see a doctor face-to-face, without a stressful battle for an appointment - we offer easy booking online or by phone.

Dr Ori is our newest private GP and works out of our Allerton site on Booker Avenue. She has particular expertise in managing Long Covid and used to be the lead clinician at the Knowsley Long Covid Service. Her interests include immunology, Long COVID, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and POTS. She is currently involved in research related to Long Covid.
