Who missed the launch event of the new Love Food, Live Well Mind Nourishing collaboration programme "6 Weeks to Reset Your Relationship with Food "?!
No fear! Here's some key Qs and our answers to give you an insight into this inspired 6 week programme starting on 27th Sept:
Q."Is this all about weight loss?"
A. - Nope, we will be taking you through a process of adapting your approach to food and health, so if you are looking to get healthy and make changes in your diet to suit your body and health needs then weight loss is likely to be a side effect, however we won't be focusing on your weight at all, we will help you identify and achieve goals in many areas of health instead ❤
Q. "Is this suitable for someone with IBS and other similar gut concerns?"
A. Absolutely YES! Laura has the expertise in helping people address gut issues through nutrition and psychological therapies are also indicated in the evidence-base to help people improve their experience specifically with IBS but also to live well with any longterm health condition.
Q. "Is the 6 weeks still going to help someone with a lot of weight to lose?"
A. Similar to Q1, we wont be asking you to focus on weight loss specifically, however you will be informed about nutrition and supported to make changes that will likely see some weight loss in the 6 weeks. The advantage of this programme over nutrition alone, is that you will also address psychological barriers to longterm change, meaning that you will then be in a position to continue these health changes for LIFE and also equipped psychologically to deal with potential roadblocks that life brings.
