What a beautiful week! We absolutely loved being surrounded by the calm, soft lighting and soothing melodies, making music through movement, exploring sound baskets and using our lights to work on our eye tracking and eye teaming.

Next week we are having a 'Teddy Bear's Picnic' and I'd love for you to bring along your favourite teddy bear/soft toy to come and join in the fun. We'll be cooking sausages (or singing about them!), making jelly, rolling out our picnic blanket and having some afternoon tea and cake and much more! 🎉

We are celebrating the festive period with our 'Countdown to Christmas' mini term which starts on Tuesday 2nd December and runs for 3 weeks at our venues in Staining, Carleton, Hambleton and Kirkham for babies from birth to 13 months. We are now down to the final places so if you've not secured your space yet, make sure you do it soon to guarantee a spot at your preferred venue. 🌂 Singing in the Rain 🌂

We've enjoyed a week exploring all things weather to kick start our 'Winter Term'. We sang and signed a song about the 'Itsy bitsy spider', visited our raincloud, tracked ducks jumping up and down in puddles, experienced (for some) our first sounds of thunder, snuggled up during a big downpour and watched the rain fall around us and ended with a lovely experience of flying a kite on a windy day 🫶🏼

🎃 Pumpkin Parties 2025 🎃

Our little ones had so much fun at our annual 'Pumpkin Party' event smelling the Autumn Harvest, enjoying a bonfire and firework display, doing the 'Pumpkin Shake', 'Pumpkin Bounce' and much more before creating a fabulous and super cute Pumpkin Patch to end 🎉

'It was my daughter's first time at baby sensory at your Pumpkin party...and she absolutely loved it! She couldn't take her eyes off you when you were singing and signing the lyrics and she loved the opportunity to be inquisitive with all your great props. I'm hoping to book her on for your countdown to Christmas classes.

We had a fab time and would definitely recommend!'

We have one of my favourite classes this week ... Light and Sound! 💡🎶

Our babies will absolutely love tracking the movement of the lights and making sounds with homemade and everyday instruments all before forming our fantastic Baby Sensory Orchestra at the end of the session 🎉

At Baby Sensory® Fylde, we are so proud to be part of this award-winning team and absolutely LOVE what we do and that you love it too!

The What's on 4 Kids Awards 2025 take place on the 27th November and I am absolutely thrilled and honoured to celebrate at the ceremony itself this year having made it as a finalist in the 'Most Loved Activity Leader in North England'. We are back this week with the 'Winter Term' (Staining is back next Tuesday!) and I'm so excited to share lots of fabulous themes with you all over the next few weeks! ✨

We start off this week with 'Singing in the Rain' and will enjoy rain themed songs involving the 'Itsy bitsy spider', 'five little ducks', listening to thunder, flying a kite, taking a trip to the rain cloud and of course witnessing lots of rain!!🌧️

We do have spaces remaining for the 'Winter Term' and these can be booked at www.babysensory.com/fylde but I've also now opened pay as you go spaces for the next two weeks for anyone who'd like a more flexible option or to come and give us a try before committing to the full term.

Im excited to explore all things weather with you all this week, don't forget to get your space booked on that mat! 💚💛

👻 Spooky one 👻

This little one celebrates her first birthday today so it only seems right to do her party post today too! It was an absolute pleasure to create a little 'spooky' party with activities themed around moving those skeleton bones in the hokey cokey, being ghosts and playing peek a 'boo', watching our tinsel 'Baby Sensory Spider', getting excited as bats, ghosts and pumpkins disappeared down our holed cloth and much more! Plus, I had the pleasure of being hosted by the fabulous .dreams at the same time who had the perfect party venue for our little guests 🎉

'Lucy thank you so much for such an amazing ‘spooky one’ themed sensory party for Sofia! Everything was so thoughtfully planned and beautifully done🎃 We had the best time with all her sensory & baby group friends 🤩🧡'

🎓 Early Autumn Term Graduates 2025 🎓

I have had the absolute pleasure of knowing some of these little ones since they were just a few weeks old and what a group of superstars they have turned out to be! I've caught first rolls, first times sitting up and even first steps amongst these graduates and it has been so lovely spending my weeks with you all over the past year!

I'm wishing all my graduates and their families the best of luck as they journey onto the next big adventures and just want to say a big thank you so much for letting me be a tiny part of your lives so far. You will all be very missed, thank you for the memories and keep smiling and enjoying all the magical moments life gives you ✨
