Bye bye 'Easter Term 2026'!

Over the last 5 weeks, we've performed tricks during 'Magic week', enhanced our love for all things books in 'Books, bells and balls', celebrated the mummies in our 'Mother's Day Special', partied Irish style in our 'St Patrick's party' and enjoyed all things Spring in our 'Easter' special.

The biggest of thank you's to everyone who has joined me over the last few weeks, I really do hope you have enjoyed your time with us and that our sessions have helped create some lovely memories with your little one. Also, an even bigger thank you to all my little leavers and their adults who have treated me to cards, flowers, bubbles of the adult variety, messages and personal thank you's in class to name but a few. These really do mean so much and are always such a lovely suprise at the end of each term so thank you very, very much, I feel very loved!

We are off now for two weeks as I enjoy a little rest and time with my family over the Easter break but I look forward to seeing you in a couple of weeks for another 6 weeks of fun and memory making with your little one.

Finally, to those of you we've waved goodbye to this week, thank you so much for joining us and I hope we may see each other again at some point. I wish you all the best of luck for whatever is in store for you both next!

🌼 Isn't she lovely, isn't she One-derful 🌼

Well, what an absolutely beautiful theme for our birthday girls first ever celebration today. I was tasked with the theme 'isn't she lovely, isn't she one-derful' for a duck loving baby whose party theme was based around flowers and the colour pink - what a dream! ✨

'Thank you so much for today, celebrating Demi’s first birthday was so special and having baby sensory be a part of it, made it that extra bit special.

We have been coming to Baby sensory since Demi was just eight weeks old and she has absolutely loved every single week, there was no way we couldn’t make it part of her first ever birthday party, Demi had the best time 💕'

It was an absolute joy and pleasure to have been asked to be a part of this little one's special day! I hope I filled it with lots of magical memories and helped make it as 'one-derful' as you ... Happy Birthday! 🎉

Wow, wow, wow! I quite simply just can not get used to how many bookings we've been taking the last two terms from existing and waitlisted customers ahead of term launch, thank you so, so much! It's been chaotic, it's been late nights, it's been early mornings but it's been absolutely incredible and I'm feeling so very loved and grateful right now!✨

We have been taking bookings from existing and waitlisted customers over the last week and tonight, the final spaces for the 'Spring Term' will be released onto the website for all of our new customers waiting to book at 8pm. Our Ribby Hall and Carleton Memorial Hall venues are already fully booked and will not be able to offer spaces now until our 'Summer Term' which starts in June 2026 and we are also fully booked on all classes for babies from birth to 6 months across all venues so these options will not be showing as available on the website. We do however have a few spaces remaining on the following sessions ...

💚Tuesdays at Staining Village Hall - 10.15am (7-13 months)
💛Thursdays at Hambleton Village Hall - 10am (7-13 months)

If you would like to join either of these classes for a 6 week term of fun and magic including a brand new class never delivered before for children's activity week, a visit from Michael Ivan Photography for photo week AND my 5th birthday party 🎉 please visit www.babysensory.com/fylde from 8pm this evening to book your space.

Tell your friends and family because once those spaces have gone, we will not unfortunately be able to accept any more babies until June 2026 (which I cannot believe!)

The 'Spring Term' is coming and I am currently working away behind the scenes to get everyone's spaces allocated and try and welcome the new babies on our waitlist to their preferred venues. If you are an existing customer, a waitlisted customer or you've just come across this post but are hoping to join us, here's all the info you will need to try and get your space booked and secured for the 'Spring Term'.

💚 7 to 13 months existing customers, you have your provisional booking link but please remember this expires at midnight tonight so please don't forget to action it today to avoid risking losing your place

💛 Birth to 6 months existing customers and birth to 13 months class attendees, your provisional booking offers will be sent tomorrow and you will have until midnight on Sunday to action your emails

💚 Waitlisted customers, you should all have received a message from me last night to your mobile checking which classes across the whole timetable you're able to join, please reply back as soon as you can and if you didn't receive anything, please get in touch. Bookings for waitlisted customers open at 8pm on Monday evening

💛 New customers wishing to join us who've never been to a class before and haven't joined a waitlist will be able to book from 8pm on Wednesday 18th March at www.babysensory.com/fylde

🐻 My bear-y first birthday 🐻

'Lucy made Ophelia’s bear-y first birthday absolutely magical! She tailored every activity around the bear theme and somehow managed to make it perfect for all the children there, not just littlies around Ophelia’s age but children all the way up to 6 years old. Every child was engaged and excited and no one felt left out.

What made it even more special was how inclusive it felt. Our original Baby Sensory mum group were there, along with friends who had never experienced a class before, and Lucy made everyone, Mums, Dads and children, feel completely involved. The room was full of laughter, dancing, lights and so many big smiles.

Ophelia absolutely loved every minute. She laughed, danced and even stood unassisted for the ‘bear-y’ first time during the session, which made it even more special. It was such an amazing way to celebrate her first birthday.

We love Lucy so much and can’t recommend her enough for parties or classes. She creates the most wonderful memories for little ones and their families. Everyone needs a little bit of Lucy in their lives 🪄✨❤️'

For my second party yesterday, I had a bear-y lovely afternoon celebrating this little bear surrounded by her friends and family and was (for once!) lost for words when this little review came through! Each party is one of a kind and bespoke made to ensure that it fits the theme, includes baby's favourite activities but also to try and ensure it engages all party guests regardless of age in some way and I was absolutely thrilled to hear how well this once was received! We had such a lovely little bear themed adventure and what a time to shine, this little one took her moment and flew with it by standing up for the first time in the middle of our teddy bears picnic! What a superstar! ✨

Thank you so much for such kind words, I cannot begin to tell you how much it means but the biggest thank you for letting me be a part of this special day! Happy birthday little one, I hope it was the bear-y best! 🐻💚💛

What a fun week we had last week celebrating World Book Day in our 'books, bells and balls' class 🎉

Our babies looked amazing in their book themed outfits and we enjoyed waving hello, exploring bells, reading our favourite books, testing our memory in our 7 to 13 months classes and partaking in a little colour preference test in our birth to 6 months sessions, feeling 'happy' with ribbons and getting VERY excited about my brand new air ball (once I worked out how to use it!) 🤣

Today was my first ever two party day and what a lovely day it was! I started off with a little 'Berry 1st Birthday' for this little lady at our fabulous party venue .dreams
We went on a search for strawberries in a specially written party package that contained not only lots of strawberry themed activities to stay on theme but also included our birthday girls favourite activities from class to ensure the most magical adventure! ✨

'Thank you so much for putting this 'berry first birthday' party 🍓 together it was so lovely to see Dottie's little smile light up when she saw those lights and having you flutter around as a butterfly was amazing!! 🦋 I would highly recommend this party package to anyone wanting to celebrate with you 🩷'

It's always so lovely to receive such kind feedback from our party hosts and I'm always so incredibly grateful that the party packages are enjoyed by everyone attending but the best part is seeing the faces in real time of the babies (and older siblings) as they get lost in all the magic and excitement. It also made me so happy to hear 'as soon as you released the information that you were collaborating with Diddy Dreams, I knew I needed to book'. Our third party from this collaboration and it's true, Diddy really does make the perfect party venue for hosting us!

Thank you so much to today's family for having me, it was a lovely way to spend a Sunday morning and I hope the birthday girl and her friends had the 'berry' best time! Happy 1st birthday for tomorrow 🎉

This month we mark 20 years of the Baby Sensory® company and 20 years of being the leading baby learning and development activity!

Baby Sensory® did not begin overnight, it took over 40 years to design and develop. Dr Lin Day developed Baby Sensory®, Toddler Sense® and Hello Baby to provide parents with the support and knowledge necessary to lead their baby’s learning and development forwards in the most important years of their lives.

Here at Baby Sensory® Fylde, we are so proud to be part of the amazing Baby Sensory® family and are so excited to be celebrating a HUGE milestone of 20 years of Baby Sensory® this March! 💛💚
