I deliberated for a long time whether to install a snooker room & have a dedicated games room.
So pleased we did.
Clients in residence make use of it on a regular basis. Having a quiet game of chess, playing Table bowls on a Friday, friendly snooker matches on a Wednesday and it's great to see family members having a game with their loved one's when visiting.

Dominoes club now happens twice a week.I did suggest alternating with scrabble, but I was voted down😂

I was just reviewing some of our posts and just had to pause & smile.
The photographs of the ladies who made necklaces the other week are so beautiful, they absolute radiate love, kindness & beauty.
I'm going to get them to try and find some photos of when they were young, footloose & free.

So managed to get all the trees & decorations up for the 1 st of December 2 weeks of frenetic activity, then like many folks came down with this awful chesty bug.
2 courses of antibiotics & steroids 3 weeks later finally started to recover.
Thank goodness I had prepped well before hand.
We have all had a fantastic Christmas at Porritt House,
Full of fun, games, activities good food and good company.
So before we start taking the decs down for another year, thought I would post for prosperity this years efforts on the Christmas decorations.
