Today we honour and remember those who gave up their freedom so that we can have ours.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old. Age shall not weary them, or the years condemn. At the going down of the sun, and in the morning.

We will remember them.

Being separated from owners can be distressing for dogs and lead to unwanted behaviour. Certain things can be done to help with this, including getting them used to it gradually, providing calming supplements like CALMEX® and using calming scents in the house, with the CALMEX® DIFFUSER.

Help to prepare for this fireworks season using these tips and tricks alongside the CALMEX® range:

• Let them hide – Provide comfortable, safe hiding places, or dens, around the home, that pets can go to if they’re feeling scared.
• Keep them inside – Make sure doors and windows are locked, so scared pets can’t escape and get lost.
• Reduce noise – Close windows and curtains, as this can muffle the firework sounds. Help to mask the noise of fireworks by putting on music or the TV.
• Don’t leave them alone – Ensure pets are not left alone in the house, as having familiar faces around will help them feel more relaxed.
• Keep calm – You can help your pet stay as calm as possible, by keeping your behaviour normal and relaxed.
