Clifton Homecare Limited

Clifton Homecare Limited Our mission is to offer the very finest personalised homecare across Lytham St Annes and South Fylde. Each service user will get their full quota of care, i.e.

Clifton Homecare Limited is a small family run business which was created by Margaret and Caroline Brady. Together they have over forty years experience of the care industry and up until February 2013 they owned a reputable residential home in St Annes, Lancashire. The residential home always gained excellent CQC and LCC ratings/ inspections which they hope to carry on in the Home care sector. The aim of Clifton Homecare is to care for service users as well as they would expect their own family/ loved ones/ themselves to be cared for, maximising independence and quality of life. Some of their principles of care are to encourage service users to build a relationship with a small number of carers, allocating only 2-3 carers to one service user. care time will NOT have travel time deducted from it. All carers will be trained to a high standard, be CRB/ DBS checked and will be audited on a regular basis. Wheelchair access transport is available to take service users out for pleasure and appointments. Finally, Clifton Homecare will provide reassurance to service users and their families 24 hours a day by being a contact at lifeline so any issues when carers are not there can be rectified and assistance necessary can be given. Clifton Homecare is operational in St Annes, Lytham, Ansdell, Warton, Freckelton, Wrea Green and Kirkham.

One of the things that made us smile last week was a small, but heartfelt thank you from a family member. Simply put but this has meant the world to our team, “He is enjoying being back in the Clifton Homecare family and likes ‘S’ who has been coming. Many thanks for your care”.

Homecare supports people to keep those routines exactly as they like them, and it’s lovely to see how much calmer and more confident that can make someone feel.

Today’s smile came from something we see often — the difference it makes when someone can stay in the place that feels most like them: their home.

Homecare isn’t just about practical support.

It’s about keeping familiar routines, favourite mugs, favourite chairs, favourite radio stations, and all the little comforts that make winter feel calmer and more manageable.

Supporting people in their own environment helps them stay independent, confident and connected to the things that matter most.

And being able to provide that — especially during December — is something that always makes us smile. 💛🏡

Our elves continue to support with putting festive decorations up, getting trees out of lofts and get people in the festive spirit. But who are they?
As the Christmas lights go up, moods improve and smiles often return. Keep going elves, only 22 days to go to the big day!

🎄 December has officially kicked off at Clifton Homecare, and Caroline has armed the whole team with advent calendars.

The plan was to open one chocolate a day… but within ten minutes we’d already caught people “accidentally” skipping ahead to days 3, 4, and possibly 7. 🍫😂

We’re calling it festive enthusiasm.

Either way, the office is now 80% chocolate and 20% regret.

Well, it is that time of year again when many are dusting off their Christmas trees and decorations and preparing their homes for Christmas festivities. At Clifton Homecare we have 2 elves helping those who may otherwise struggle. Their identities will be revealed in time but for now…. Who is this elf? 📞 Connection doesn’t always need an occasion.

A gentle check-in — a call, a small visit, a quiet conversation — can bring comfort that lasts long after the moment has passed.

For someone who spends a lot of time on their own, these interactions can:

• Make the day feel brighter
• Ease feelings of loneliness
• Remind them they matter

Presence doesn’t have to be loud to be meaningful.

Sometimes, simply showing up is enough. 🌿

🏡 Home feels different when someone is there with you.

The kettle sounds warmer.
The room feels fuller.
The day feels lighter.

Companionship doesn’t need big gestures.
Just presence.
Just time.
Just kindness.

These are the moments that help people feel safe, connected and valued. 🤍

📷 Looking through old photos is more than reminiscing — it’s reconnecting with identity.
Remembering names, places, routines, favourite clothes, special moments.
It’s grounding.
Comforting.
Affirming.

And it reminds us of something important:
Life has been full — and still is. 🤍
