Amazing Summer Sessions. So many achievements, from practising standing up from the floor, side stepping to get a toy, using a walking aid for the first time, and much much more. The children were incredible and such fun to teach (and their parents are pretty incredible too). We even had a cat trying to join in with the fun!!! Thank you to for your continued support and enabling these sessions to take place. Sorry to those that didn't secure a space this time. Enjoy the rest of the summer holidays 😊

🌟 We are THRILLED to announce that Independent Steps has been accepted as an approved Conductive Education provider for the charity Caudwell Children! 🌟

This means that families now have the amazing opportunity to apply for FREE Conductive Education sessions through Caudwell Children, delivered by us here at Independent Steps. We couldn’t be more pleased to be part of this fantastic initiative, supporting families in achieving their goals and making a real difference in the lives of children.

To apply for these free sessions, please make sure you meet the eligibility criteria:

✔️ Child must be under the age of 18
✔️ Child must have a confirmed diagnosis
✔️ Family must reside legally in the UK
✔️ Household income must be less than £60,000 gross per year (excluding benefits), OR the family must be in receipt of a means-tested benefit, such as Universal Credit
✔️ The family must have savings under £16,000
