Yesterday we continued the Nutrition and Hydration week with a coffee morning. It's always a popular event and a good opportunity to be social butterflies. Today we got very sticky fingers, peeling and chopping fruit for smoothies. Mango, pineapple, apples, pears and bananas were prepared and sent off to the kitchen where the chef blended them all together. The ladies then got to sample their efforts with a well deserved drink. Not only was it very yummy indeed, but healthy and nutritious too. Think it may have also ticked off a couple of the 5 a day🤔🤔🤔

This week is Nutrition and hydration week and we have lots of little events planned to learn more about the importance of keeping hydrated and the benefits of nutritious food. Yesterday we kicked it off with our memories of food growing up, especially through wartime and rationing. Today we tried some tasty treats from around the world, keep an eye on this page for what else we get up to this week.
