Beautiful, love these tips 🤍

I wanted to share my positive birth experience because yes, it is possible to have a calm, empowering birth in a hospital.Ive done it twice with just gas and air.
It was painful, yes. But also... magical I trusted my body, breathed through every surge, and when I thought I couldn’t do it anymore.. I was 10cm.
Here’s what helped me:
1 Breathe. It sounds simple, but it carried me through.
2 Don’t be afraid to make the room your:
lights down, voices low, calm music.
3 Trust your instincts. You will know what to do when the time comes.
4 Have a birth partner who knows your wishes and advocates for you.
5 Stay hydrated, even tiny sips between contractions make a difference.
6 Don’t be afraid to move, my best position was on all fours but tried everything until I was comfortable.
7 Something to squeeze a hand, a comb, a stress ball. Anything to divert the pain.
And most importantly believe in your body. However you bring your baby into the world, with an epidural, with gas and air, screaming, breathing, c-section, water birth... it’s ALL incredible
